It's been a couple of months since I got back and there's so no word from Loki, Thor would always give me this apologetic look every morning and in my heart I knew he wasn't coming back. Tony sold Stark Tower and moved to a new building with a giant A on the side of it. As I was finishing making my new room feel like home I took out a picture of me and Loki, we were smiling at each other at a carnival. I felt a few tears pour down my cheeks and I quickly wiped them away " God Loki, when are you coming home?". " (Y/N), Peter's downstairs" Steve said coming in my room " Thanks, I'll be right down", Steve sighed and sat down next to me " I know you miss him" " Last time I saw him we had just confessed our love, and how he's gone and I know he's never coming back" " But now you have Peter, you always seem to have fun with him. Maybe you could try turn that into something" " You think that could happen?" " Of course I do, now come on put some fresh clothes on and go have fun" " Thanks Steve, your a great uncle" " I'm more like a grandpa" he laughed leaving.

I stood up and put on a pair of dark blue high waisted jeans and a light blue crop top, I slipped my feet into some shoes and brushed my hair and put on some natural make up. I walked downstairs and smiled as I saw Peter talking to Tony, " Hey what's going on?" I asked as I reached the two men " Peter was just asking me a science question" " Must be desperate if your asking Tony and not Bruce" I chuckled as Tony glared at me. " You look great by the way" Peter said to me and I smiled " Thank you Peter, come on let's go before Tony bores you with facts he knows about alcohol".

Peter and I walked to a park talking about random things and getting to know each other better, Peter suddenly stopped and I followed his gaze to the grass. ' WILL YOU GO TO PROM WITH ME?' I put my hand over my mouth and looked at Peter who was smiling at me. He took my hand and pulled me in close " Will you be my date to prom?" " Of course I will Peter", Peter smiled and pulled me into a hug " I should tell you it's next week" " Your joking?" " No, I was just really nervous to ask you so I kept putting it off" " You idiot" I rolled my eyes smiling.

Peter soon walked me back home and I walked in the room smiling, " Lady (Y/N) what has you so happy?" Thor asked as he seen me, I looked at everyone " Peter asked me to go with him to prom, and I said yes". Everyone looked completely shocked, " Finally that kid took weeks" Tony said and pulled me into a hug " I already have dresses upstairs in your room for you to try on" " Thanks Tony your the best father anyone could ask for". I walked upstairs smiling, I'm so excited to try on these dresses.

" Tony" " We're not telling her" " She has the right to know". " She's finally starting to become happy again after he left, I'm not having him come back and ruin it", " What is this prom she speaks of?" Thor asked " It's a dance, like a date" " Peter can not have (Y/N) on a date, she is Loki's" " Last time I checked he disappeared, (Y/N) finally met a nice young man her age and I'm not letting him ruin it" " When is this dance?" " Next Friday".

It was Friday and Natasha was helping me get ready, " Are you sure you want to go through with this?" She asked zipping up my forest green dress, " Of course I do, I can't leave Peter stranded on the night of his prom". " What about Loki?" " What about him?" " What if he comes back?" " If he was, he would be back by now. Besides its just a dance, it's not like he has a say in me going". " Okay just be careful" " I always am", Nat did my make up and curled my hair, I looked at myself in the mirror and smiled " I look gorgeous, thank you Nat", she smiled at me as we walked downstairs to see all the Avengers in shirts and dress pants having champagne with Peter.

Peter turned his head and saw me and smiled " You look gorgeous (Y/N)" " Thanks Peter, you don't look too bad yourself". Peter put his glass down and put a green corsage on my right hand and I smiled, Tony took a lot of pictures of us and the Avengers together. " Your car is here sir" Jarvis said and we walked outside and got in the car. " Thanks again for being my date tonight, (Y/N)" " Don't worry about it, it's my pleasure". We walked into his school and throughout the night I had met his teachers, friends and danced with him. A slow song started playing " Can I have this dance?" Peter asked holding his hand out to me and I smiled taking it " Of course", Peter put his hand on my waist while I put my hand on his shoulder. We danced slowly to the song " So I heard the other Avengers mention Loki?" " It's Thor's younger brother" " Thor was talking about you and Loki" " We liked each other a couple of months ago but we grew apart and so did our feelings". 

" Are you sure?" " Of course I am, Peter" " Good because I was wondering if you'd like to become my girlfriend" " Really?" " Yeah, that's only if you know you like me too". I smiled and kissed his cheek " I do like you" " Oh thank god" I laughed as Peter slowly leaned down and kissed my lips. It didn't feel the same, this kiss didn't feel like Loki's, it didn't give me the same spark or feeling Loki's did. Maybe it's because I'm not use to Peter this way, I hope to god it changes. At about one o'clock Peter and I got the car back to the Avengers tower and slowly walked into the living room. " I think everyone's asleep" I whispered " What do you want to do?" Peter asked and I smiled as we started making out on the couch.

Peter lied me down and leaned on top of me, his hands on my waist and tongue in my mouth. I kicked the table and laughed " Shit sorry" " Are you okay?" Peter laughed and I nodded as we started making out again. The lights turned on and Peter was pulled off of me, I stood up and my face dropped. " Loki?..." Loki stared at me as I walked up and punched him across the face " Where the fuck have you been?" " I missed you too snowflake" Loki grinned. "Don't, answer my question where have you been?" " On a vacation, Thor got in contact with me saying you were alive and here I find you making out with a man on the couch".

" What was I supposed to do? Sit around and wait for you to come back?" " I would never leave you for long my love". " (Y/N) stand back I can take him" Peter said " No you can't he's a god", " Your wearing my colour" Loki said staring at my dress. " It's just a dress" " (Y/N) come back to me, become my queen" " What the hell are you doing here?!" Tony shouted " Brother you were meant to come tomorrow" " That was before I saw her kissing this pip-squeak" Loki growled " You made out with my niece?" Tony asked looking at Peter " Maybe a little". " Thor you knew he was coming?" " I told him to come, you two belong together. No offence Peter" " None taken"

" I'm not being with someone who disappeared for months. Come on Peter" I said taking his hand. " Where are you going?" Loki asked me " I'm bringing Peter to my room" I said as I closed the door behind us. " I'm so sorry about that Peter" " It's fine, I understand you two had a relationship kind of thing" " Yeah but that's over now" " Your positive?" " You wouldn't be in my room if I wasn't". Peter stayed the night and left in the morning, I put on a shirt Peter left here before that went down to my ass.

I walked downstairs and made myself some tea, " So you really like that boy more than me?" Loki asked from behind me as he put his hands on my waist. I sighed and nodded " Unlike you he hasn't disappeared" " I've always had a good reason to" " Like what? To take over other places" " (Y/N) you and I belong together". " Maybe we did, but you've done nothing for me except leave. So excuse me while I try get used to a steady relationship". I walked away with my tea and toast and put them down on the coffee table in the living room, next thing I knew I was pinned down with Loki on top of me " I love you (Y/N) and I will not give up on you, I will continue to fight for your love" " I've already given up on you".

I pushed Loki off of me and continued eating my breakfast, " You really don't feel anything for me?" " I do, the hardest thing is that I'm trying not to feel anything for you". " I see, you'd rather another mortal" " No, I rather someone who actually sticks around. Unless you can do that I suggest you get out". I walked upstairs to my room and lied on the bed, holding my heart ' That had to be the hardest thing I've ever done'.

" Good morn brother, did you sleep well?" Thor asked with that stupid smile on his face " Goodbye brother" " What do you mean goodbye? You only arrived" " (Y/N) doesn't want anything to do with me, there's no reason for me to stay" " Where will you go?" " Away from here" and with that I left.
