Everything Can Change.

Chapter Eight

Evie's point of View:
I want to turn around but I'm so worried that it's going to be Chris! I slowly turned my head around not to see anything that had changed. "Okay Evie, know just leave so nothing bad can happen!" I say to myself and sprint out the door to the car and jumped in locking it so nobody could get in. "Hear you go Mum, I got this for you!!" I say passing her the picture. She looked at it and started to cry. "Hey Mummy, it's alright, come on show me to Daddy's?" I say starting the car. I'm saying Mum and Dad cause I know it's comforting but I'm not going to again until I know the truth.

I start to drive with Mandy's instructions and not going to lie I think I'm doing pretty good for someone who couldn't drive and had never driven before. "Hear we are." Mandy says as I pull into the drive way. It's around like 7:45 so the children should be getting ready for bed. "Are you coming in Mandy?" I say grabbing her hand. "I don't want to go in, I don't want Simon seeing me like this!" Amanda says going in to hysterics. "Hey hey it's fine, follow me I will see if I can get you in without him seeing you, okay?" I say as she gently nods her head. I get out the car and get Mandy out the car with her leaning on me. We make are way towards the door. I find the key under the mat, I open the door and everyone is asleep on the sofa. "Come on Mandy, let's get you into bed." I say and take her upstairs. "This is Simon's room." Mandy's says. "That's alright, I will stay with you!" I say. I lay Mandy on to the bed. "I'm going to get all the bags and start to unpack okay?" Mandy nods.

I get all the bags in and put them in the right room. I can with the covers everyone has picked. I unpack Lexi's and Hollies cloths and bits. I went and put the other bag in Simon's room and put the bathroom bag in the bathroom. "Right Mandy let's get you ready for bed!" I as I walk into her room but she's fallen asleep. I take her out of her crop top and and put her in a pj top. I slip her boots off and then her trousers so I can put on some shorts. I tuck her under the sheets and leave shutting the door behind me. "Right the girls!" I say to myself as I go downstairs. First Hollie, I put her in her PJs and into bed same with Lexi, however Lala and Lola don't have there stuff. "Hey!" I hear a whisper. I jump out my skin. "Shit, Si don't do that!" I say and he giggles. "Where is everyone?" He asks seeing all the children had gone and Mandy was in his bed. Shit how do I explain that, he's still with Lauren. "Come on let's go!" Simon says out the blew. "Wait wear and why?" I say shocked. "To get yours and the girls and Thomas's stuff obviously!" He says and grabs his keys and we leave.

Simon's point of view:
We get to the centre and Evie goes in first. "WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN? YOUR NOT MEANT TO LEAVE WITHOUT MY SAY SO YOU BITCH!" I hear screaming and I burst into to see a lady with her hand raised to Evie. "You touch her and you will regret it, Evie go get the stuff I will deal with this!" I say and Evie immediately goes up stairs. "Who are you?" This old, big looking lady asks. "I'm Evie's, Lola and Lala farther and Thomas's grandfather." I say and her face drops. "Yes so I will be taking them out of your care!" I say as i see Evie come down with three rucksacks and a Thomas pull along child suitcase. "You ready darling?" I say taking two of the bags. Evie nods her head. "Thank you for having them!" I say and let Evie go out first. We get in the car. "See it wasn't that bad!" I say rubbing Evie's and. "Daddy, I'm going to tell you something about Mummy but you promise you didn't hear it from me?" Evie say knowing I'm going to be shocked that she called me Dad and Mandy mum. "Go on." I say. Immediately she spills out what happened when they went home and what Lexi told her. I'm in complete shock. "She's in your bed at home!" Evie says, I turn on the engine and charge home. We get home and before I can get any where Evie grabs my arm. "Please Daddy, wait until morning?" She pleaded me. I nodded and helped her out the car. Evie went upstairs and unpacked the stuff and got Lala and Lola changed and put them to bed while I checked on the boys. I put Thomas into some of Eric's cloths. "Thanks for that!" I hear Evie behind me. "That's alright, you can put his stuff in that set of draws." I say pointing in a set of draws that were completely empty. I watch Evie as she unpacks putting an item of clothing in each draw and then in done. "What!" She questions. "Nothing, come hear poppet." I say opening my arms up for her. She comes in and hugs me. I can hear her sobbing, I know she was only brave because of Mandy and I'm so proud of her. "Come on let's go on the sofa." I say taking her hand.

We get all cozy on the sofa and I can see Evie about to drop off when there is a knock at the door. Evie immediately tightens her grip on me, the knock gets louder and louder. "What on earth is going on?" Evie's whispers into my chest!

I'm going to leave it there for know!!
