You're my Goddess (Yato x Reader)

Chapter 7: Blight....

I woke up early, before Yato. "*sigh* finally alone...." Honestly, Yato could be annoying and childish, but he's ok. As I was walking, I heard some noises behind me.

"Huh?" I turned around to see a weird creature. It made a squeaky noise. "Y/N!" I heard my name being called in the distance. "Get away from it!" I felt someone's arm around my waist and then we jumped away from the phantom.

We landed on the top of a building. I looked at the person that put me on the building. "Yato?" I said. Yato jumped on the phantom and tried to kill it with his katana, but the phantom bit his arm.

"AHHHH!" He screamed. I had a knife, I know it isn't much and doesn't look like it could kill it. But it's powerful. I jumped off the roof and stabbed the phantom and then it disappeared.

"*breathing heavily* I told you to stay away from it, you could have got hurt ..." "Says the one in pain!" You looked at his arm. There was a purple bruise on his arm, but it wasn't.

"Blight..." You said. "Huh? How did you-" "like I said before, my friend was a god. Now come on." We went to a shrine to put some holy water on his arm.  

"Ok, let me see your arm." He refused and said, "I'll do it myself." I ignored what he said and poured it on his arm. He winced at the pain and the blight was gone. "*sigh* what are you doing out here" "I needed some fresh air." Why does yato care so much? Is he...acting serious for once? "You shouldn't be out here, you could have gotten hurt or killed."

He got closer to me. "I care about you." I literally have no words right now. "That's good I guess, but why?" He smiles. "Because you're my friend" I smiled a bit. "ok, let's go home." We walked back home. "Just be careful and check your surroundings next time" "I will, stop worrying." He sighed.

~Afternoon~

I looked at yato and suddenly he was looking at me. "So, y/n" "what?" "Where is your friend?" I looked at him confused. "What do you mean?" "Your god friend, where is he?" It's been a long time since I saw him. "I don't know, we split up 3 years ago" "oh, then do you know what he looks like?" He kinda looks like yato, but more mature. "He looks like you but,  but he's more mature than you."

He puts a hand on his chest and acts like he's hurt. "Wow, I can be mature and act like him" "I don't want you to act or be like him. Just be yourself." He sighed. "Ok, don't go out at night trying to get away from me." I looked at him. "I need to get away from you and you can't tell me what to do. Why can't I go out at night?" "The phantoms"

"Really? I can handle myself you didn't have yukine with you so I killed it myself and you got injured." I smiled evilly. "Such an innocent girl you are." He pins me to the wall. I looked at him with shock. "W What are you doing?"

"Nothing, I hope you find your God friend" "why?" "I want to know who he is." He backs up and goes upstairs. What was that about? Why does he want to meet him? Oh well, I think he thinks he's bad or something.
