Moonlight Eulogy

If you're up there,

Alone in the stars,

Wandering, wandering,

Know that with every breath,

I take,

I miss you more than,

Words can say.

Your body was,

Lit up like the morning sky ,

with pain and toxic cells.

I'm so sorry,

I couldn't save you,

But Earth could no longer,

Keep you.

You're now set free,

Of the unfairness,

Of illness,

I hope you're smiling,

Wherever you may be.
