After the whole day has passed, may I add it has been very boring day, I went home. On my way back home I was thinking a lot about everything that has happened today. First thing that comes to my mind is Thea and her behavior. I know my brain is tired of thinking about that too and I should just let it go, but I can't. I am not that kind of a person, just to let something slip off that easily. I had that in my previous school and that may be the most important reason why I changed schools. I hate people like her, but I don't hate her and that is the problem. I see she has such a beautiful heart, but it looks like she doesn't want anyone to know about that. Even if Jade and I said something about how good she is at home, nobody would believe us, because we are no one and she is a star. As she says.

I opened the front door of my house with a bored and tired face. After the incident between the classes, Thea and I have not talked. I wanted to apologize to her, but I decided against it when I found out how stupid I would look then. I went straight to the living room to talk to my parents. It is like a tradition to us. Whenever I come home from school, I go to talk to them and tell them what happened that day. Not every day, because every teenager has a secret just for themselves.

Just as expected, mom and dad are sat on the couch. they smiled when they saw me standing there and I went and sat next to my mom who hugged me as I sat.

''Hey sweetie.'' She said.

''Hey mom. How are you doing?'' I ask both of them.

''How was your day?'' She completely ignored my question, but I let it go. I decided not to tell them what exactly happened today at school, because as I said, it is a secret. I don't even know why, but I just don't feel like saying something bad about Thea.

''It was okay. How are you?''

''I am good, thanks honey, but you didn't tell me how do you like this school? Is it better than your old school?'' My mom and dad's main priority was for me to like this school.

''I like it a lot.'' I tell her the truth. ''I met one friend and her name is Jade. She is really amazing, we have so much in common. We are already have better friendship than I had in my old school. I love it here.''

''I am so glad you love it.''  She hugs me as she says it. ''But are the other kids good as she is?'' She asks when she breaks the hug.

''They are not as nice as she is, but they are okay. I don't have problem with anybody.''

She look at me really suspicious. She knows me too well. ''I think you are hiding something from me.''

Yes.

''No. I am not hiding anything. You know that I always tell you everything. I could not last a day without telling you everything and you know it.'' I say and nervously smile. This is the first time I am hiding something from her and I feel normal. I don't feel guilty and I don't know if that is a bad thing or not.

Hopefully not. That is what everybody does, right?

Right?

Yes.

No.

Please, be say.

''Okay I believe you.''

Thank God.

''Okay, I am going to go to sleep now. Goodnight mom.'' I kiss her cheek. ''Goodnight dad.'' I kiss his cheek also and go upstairs to my room.

When I enter my room, I close the door and sit on my bed. I can't believe that just happened but it felt right. Probably, I am the only person on this planet who tells everything to her mom as she is my best friend. I have had one best friend in primary school and it was a mistake. Since her, I have never had another best friend. I didn't want anyone else to call my best friend because I didn't have that trust in anybody, but her. We got into a fight and it was a stupid fight, over the phone.
