A Wild Ride

Chapter 7

Ashlyn's POV
I'm awakened by the sound of a horn. "Good morning Ashlyn!!" I open my eyes to see Jake, shirtless, vlogging. He blows the horn again. I cover my ears with my pillow. "Isn't she just a ray of sunshine" he says as he walks out of my room. Since I'm now awake I get up and go into the bathroom. I look at myself in the mirror. My hair is a wild mess, and I'm wearing some cute pj shorts and t-shirt. I throw my hair up into a messy bun, wash my face, and brush my teeth before heading downstairs. It's been a little over a month since me and Blu first got here and I've been loving every minute. Logan asked me yesterday if I wanted to be his girlfriend and I gladly said yes. I stayed over at his place a few nights but the farthest it's ever gone is some kissing. Don't worry, he let me sleep in his bed while he slept on the couch. You should've heard the boys when I would come home the next day. As I reach the bottom of the stairs I see the usual. Nick at his desk, Erika making her breakfast, Anthony and chance still half asleep, chilling on the couch. Chad and Ivan outside messing around with a skateboard, and lastly Jake vlogging by the door. "Hey Ashlyn! Guess what" he said pointing the vlog to me. "What?" I smirk. "You and me officially have a ship name" I laugh and roll my eyes. "What is it?" "Jashlyn" he says bouncing his eyebrows up and down. "Woooow" I walk closer to the vlog. "By the way guys, me and Jake aren't a thing, and will never be a thing" Jake pulls the camera away. "Okaaay moving on..." There was a knock at the door. "It's open!" Jake yells pointing his camera at the door. Logan barges in shooting his merch gun right at Jake. "Are you good brooooo?" He says sticking his camera right in Jakes face. "No I'm not" he says ducking out of the way of the camera. Logan turns his camera off then walks over to me, kissing me a little aggressively on the lips. He pulls away smiling, putting his hands on my waist. We both look at Jake who was vlogging the whole thing. "Bro, you know you can't put that in" he says seriously. He rolls his eyes then puts the camera down. "Oh my god when will you just tell your viewers already" "I will, I will, just not yet" he looks back at me, his face beaming. "But, Jake, you can probably vlog this" before I have time to look confused he picks me up and starts running towards the backyard. "No no no no no!" I scream trying to wiggle from his grip. I can see Jake out of the corner of my eyes vlogging, and the rest of team 10 jumping up to watch. "Logan! I'm serious! Don-" before I could finish my sentence I was in the pool. I realized he had jumped in too. When our heads reached the surface we couldn't help but laugh. I kissed him as he pulled me back under the water. As we resurfaced we giggled until our sides hurt. "I love you" he said in between laughs. It was suddenly dead quiet. Everyone that was watching went silent. All I could do was look at him, baffled at what to say. His smile quickly faded into a frown. I starred at him, when I suddenly know what to do. I quickly went to the edge of the pool, hopped up, and hurried inside.

Logan's POV

I told her I loved her. Why would I do that? It was a spur of the moment type thing. I didn't mean to it just happened. Now she's gone, and I probably lost my chances with her forever. Tears started to well up in my eyes. I covered my face with my hands and quietly let the tears roll down my cheeks. "Logan....Logan! Look at me right now" I rub some tears away with my hand and look up at Jake. "Logan, you don't need her you're okay, c'mon lets go dry off okay?" I nod, and started to make my way out of the pool.

Ashlyn's POV

I run towards the stairs where I saw Logan set his vlog camera down. I pick it up and star jogging back outside. I suddenly stop and look out at Logan. His eyes are red and puffy, and he's listening to something Jake is saying. My heart aches at the thought of him being sad. I sprint outside. "Ash, what're you doing?" Logan asks sadly as he gets out of the pool. "Shush" I say as I press the record button. "Hey logang, so some of you may know me from jakes vlogs but I'm guessing a lot of you don't. My name is Ashlyn, and you've never seen me in Logan's vlogs before." Logan was now standing right next to me, "and there's a reason for that........." I pause and look at Logan. "I'm Logan's girlfriend," I look back at the camera which now has both of us in frame. "We've been dating for a little over a month, and it's been the most amazing time of my life. And I just wanted to say....." I look directly into Logan's eyes. "I love this boy. I love him more then words can describe. I've loved him since the moment I set eyes on him, and I will love him forever." His sad face breaks away into a face full of joy. I let Anthony take the camera as he pulls me into a big hug. I wrap my arms around his neck, and my legs around his waist. He spins me around until we fall to the ground, still squeezing tight. I'm not sure how long we stay like that, but I know I never wanted it to end.
