After being diagnosed, they sent me to the hospital straight away.
After going home and packing a bag. Me and my mum drove to the hopsital.
We got Immediate access to the child's ward so we went straight in.
I layed down on the bed with a Where's Wally book in front of my face.
About 5-10 nurses and doctors were surrounded around me trying to get blood and putting in a insulin drip.
It took about 10 mins until I was attached to the drip.
Soon after my diabetic nurse called Jennette came into my room and told me all about diabetes and what I need to do to stay alive.
I started crying when she was telling me what I had to do as I had a phobia of blood and needles.
What a great diabetic I am.
About 30 mins later my dad came into my room and he cheered me up loads
