After being diagnosed, they sent me to the hospital straight away.

After going home and packing a bag. Me and my mum drove to the hopsital.

We got Immediate access to the child's ward so we went straight in.

I layed down on the bed with a Where's Wally book in front of my face.

About 5-10 nurses and doctors were surrounded around me trying to get blood and putting in a insulin drip.

It took about 10 mins until I was attached to the drip.

Soon after my diabetic nurse called Jennette came into my room and told me all about diabetes and what I need to do to stay alive.

I started crying when she was telling me what I had to do as I had a phobia of blood and needles.

What a great diabetic I am.

About 30 mins later my dad came into my room and he cheered me up loads
