"Why are they doing this?" Kevin wonders, watching everyone dance, cheer and grand against each other.

"They're agents of chaos, Kevin.
They don't need a reason." Veronica told him, not taking her eyes from Chuck. "But if I had to guess? Payback."

"I agree." I nod along, catching the mischievous eyes of the one and only Cheryl. "They're up to no good."

Betty paused our dancing and gestures towards the hall. Chuck and Cheryl stood in front of the door, blocking Jughead from leaving. They looked like they were taunting him and he seemed to be taking the bait.

"Listen up, party people." Cheryl yells and the music cuts off. "Everyone has their secrets.
And we've all done our fair share of sinning. That's one thing my dear brother's death has revealed.
So let's play a little game to get those secrets out in the open."

About fifteen minutes later, the sitting room was partly cleared. Everyone was sitting on chairs in a circle, while other people stood behind them. Unfortunately my friends and I were one of the many sitting down. Chuck and Cheryl stood in the middle sending smirks to all of us.

"What the hell is Secrets and Sins?" Jughead scoffs, sitting across from Betty, Archie, Veronica and I.

"It's a variation on Truth or Dare.
In which we own our truths. By telling it like it is." Cheryl explains. "I'll start the game with Veronica Lodge."

"Naturally." Veronica smiles.

"Let's begin with the day you, your bad girl twin and your mob wife of a mother came to town for a so-called âfresh start. Dear Daddy Lodge. Isn't it true that your father, from prison, illegally purchased the drive-in land?Which makes me wonder. What else is he doing from behind bars?" Cheryl smirks.

"Well, I can't speak for my father, but I can think of someone with a very dirty secret." Veronica sends me a knowing look. "Specifically, Cheryl killing her very own brother."

"Everyone knows how much I loved my brother." Cheryl looked very uncomfortable.

"Exactly." I spoke up. "But did you love him maybe in ways that a sister shouldn't love a brother?"

"And as you got older, Jason started to think it was strange, unnatural. So he chose Polly over you. So you shot him between the eyes with one of your father's many hunting rifles." Veronica finished, just as Cheryl wiped a year away.
