NIALL'S POV
"I want to go to your house today." Harry signed as we walked towards the bus.
"Are you sure?" I looked over at him. He just nodded his head.
"Well just a heads up, my mum isn't a huge fan of people being gay so keep it on a lowdown so I'm really sorry if she does anything rude." I let him know.
"Well it's not like I'll be entering your house with a rainbow flag and glitter." Harry expressed. "Does she know sign language?"
"No," we made our way to the back of the bus, "I do think she knows how to fingerspell though."
"Well, as long as she doesn't fingerspell anything rude, ill be okay." I chuckled, he was right, he can't hear anything she says. She probably won't even say anything, I mean she'll completely stop talking to me if I'm also gay or bisexual or whatever, I'm still not sure.
We both watched as the roads went by, I felt Harry tap on my shoulder. "If you need me to change for your mum I can, I mean I don't like wearing masculine clothes but I will."
I shook my head, "You don't need to do that Harry, I like what you got on today." I usually always love what he wears, but today it was a blue romper with pink flowers scattered around it.
I know for a fact my mum is going to hate that a boy is wearing such a girly outfit; but I care about Harry a lot, and she won't get away with saying anything about it. Just like I protect him from people at school; I'll protect him from my own mother as well.
The bus came to a stop near my house; we both got off. I took Harry's hand as we made our short way to my house.
I opened the door and we both walked inside, Noot started meowing, greeting us at the door and rubbing at Harry's feet. Harry picked the blind cat up and smiled at it; taking him over to the couch and sitting down, setting Noot on his lap who surprisingly stayed there.
I sat next to him and we started to work on assignments as time rolled passed us; my mum walked in, meaning it must be about 7pm. I looked up at her, Harry only looked up after me cause he saw my head move.
Harry smiled at her, but she wasn't smiling back. "Who's this Niall?"
"This is Harry, the deaf kid I told you I have to interpret for school." I replied, not signing anything, it really annoys Harry when I do that.
"So he can't hear a thing yeah?" Mum asked.
"Nope." I replied.
"So why is he dressed up like a girl?" She egged on.
"Because it makes him happy." I actually didn't know that, but i don't really need a reason it doesn't matter.
Harry tapped me on the shoulder, I looked over to him. "I'm going to go. I'll see you at school." He picked Noot up and set him on my lap, then pushed his papers in his bag; he waved bye to Maura and then left.
Hopefully he's not offended by anything.
