He pulled me gently to wherever the place with the perfect view was. He still hadn't released my pale hand and I tried my best to not focus on how warm and soft it was.
We kept going up and up until we finally reached the place he wanted to show me. A single tree stood in the middle of the small elavated piece of land. I gasped at how beautiful it was. It was some type of weeping tree, it's branches full of purple flowers which almost reached the base of the thick and dark trunk.
The tree looked like it came straight from a book or movie, it seemed simply magical and if someone told me that it was an angel's healing place I would have believed them.
"It's a Wisteria Tree. Pretty isn't it?"
I momentarily forgot that I wasn't here alone so I was slightly startled when he spoke out of the blue. I looked at him only to see him looking at the tree with a soft look in his bright eyes. I unconsciously nodded my head although he didn't notice it.
"Come on, let's sit and wait."
He pulled my hand again and led me to the inside of the tree. Tht's when I realised that he never released my hand in the first place which made the usually silent butterflies in my stomach flutter.
With his free hand he pushed the branches aside which opened as if it was a velvety curtain made of flowers. He then led me to the base and motioned for me to sit and so I did. He then proceeded to put the leaves aside so we could have a clear view of the dark sky.
"There we are. Perfect view and it's quiet as well."
I nodded once again and I offered him a small smile which he returned with a bigger one. He sat down right next to me and I could feel his body heat radiating from underneath the leather jacket his cinammon smell taking over my senses.
"So Levi, tell me about yourslelf."
He broke the heavy silence as if he had been doing it his whole life, and maybe he did, he looked like the kind of person that always broke the ice.
"There's n-nothing much."
He snorted and shook his head turning his whole body towards me and looking at me straight in the eyes.
"I'm pretty sure there is more than meets the eye. So come on, tell me a few things about you."
"I'm Levi Ackerman, 17 years old and I'm home schooled because my parents are overprotective and don't trust me or anyone for that matter."
He frowned and cocked his head to the left. "If they are overprotective how did they let you-"
He stopped mid sentence as he realised what I had done. A mischievious glint shown in his blue-green eyes as he smirked."You sneaked out didn't you?"
This time I couldn't help but blush and look down in embarasment. I cursed at myself from opening up to a complete stranger but it oddly didn't mind as much I thought I would. Not if it was him at least.
"Now y-you tell me about yourself."
I don't know where I got the confidence from but now I was the one lookimg at him questioningly. He let out a small chuckle.
"Well I'm Eren Jaeger, 18 years old. I graduated high-school last year and I would love to go to college to get an arts and desigh degree but I can't afford it because my sorry excuse of an alcoholic father uses all the money form my three different shifts for gambling. I also have a beautiful motorbike whose name is Freedom."
"Freedom?'
"Cheessy I know, but that's what it gymbolises, it was my escape from my shit life- Look, it's starting."
