Captain

"What happened ba kasi? Oh my gosh! That's 20 laps jog. Not so you." Bungad ni Vanna sa akin as I finished my jog.
"Nothing important." sagot ko sa kanya habang inaabutan niya ako ng sports drink.
"Nothing important? But you seemed so distracted. Ano ba Crise, sa akin ka pa talaga magla-lie? Duh?!" she told me habang umiikot yung mata niya. Hay, I can't really keep secrets from her. She knows me. So much.

"Okay fine! Eh kasi I saw that freaking pervert kanina. The one I'm telling you earlier, remember? And hell Van! He was making out with someone. With his freaking hands all over the butt of the flirty bitch girl. Urgh!" tuloy tuloy kong kwento kay Vanna habang napapasambunot ako sa buhok ko. Naiinis parin talaga ako. Naaalala ko naman yung pangmamanyak niya sa akin kanina. Nice butt his ass! Plus, napahiya pa ako kasi nga he saw me scolded by coach kanina. Fuck!

"Oh my gosh! You mean Mr. Gwapo Crise? That guy? Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh!" she screamed. Parang tanga.

I rolled my eyes as a response to her remarks with that guy. May nakalimutan siyang idugtong. She forgot the word manyak which is hindi dapat kinakalimutan.

"Atsaka, ang judgemental mo naman. Haha! Flirty bitch agad? What if girlfriend niya pala yun? Normal na yun no! Feeling innocent ka naman." aniya sa akin.

Girlfriend? Okay, it's given na in-relationship sila but it doesn't mean it's okay lang na mag make out sila. Umagang-umaga? Sa gym pa talaga? Wtf?! Tsaka, girlfriend niya yun? Like eww?! We are heading towards our locker room para makapagbihis narin ng proper clothes for class hours when one of our teammates spoke, "May bagong captain daw yung basketball team. And, guess who?" aniya habang sinundan ng nakakarinding tili. Yvanna, as a great gossip girl ay pumunta sa pwesto ni -- sino nga ito? Clyde? Claire? Whatever. While I'm continuing to remove my shoes, nakikinig lang sa kanila. What's the purpose pa ba if I'll join with them? Hindi ko rin naman kilala. Teammate ko nga hindi ko kabisado yung name, mga basketball players pa ba? I mean, of course I know them sa mga mukha nga lang. But of course, para hindi rin naman ako masyadong outdated, I still preferred to listen. Listen lang.

"Talaga? Sino raw?" asked my other teammate.

"Oh my gosh! Baka si Ken beybeh ko na yan ah? Oh my goooshh!" Yvanna said while jumping. Ken Selario, if I'm not mistaken is a varsity player, long-time crush ni Vanna. When I say long-term, since we're still in grade four I think? Ken is my neighbor at ang tanging kilala ko lang talaga sa basketball team.

"Not Ken Vann, but just around his circle of friends. Yung hottest Haha! Well, hottest for me. Claire said while giggling. Hottest huh? I bet, how hot? Damn Tiff! You're being naughty.

"Spill it na kasi! Pa- suspense ka masyado eh." narinig ko pang sabi na nang isa na sinundan pa nang marami. Whatever, I'll take a quick bath nalang muna.

"It's Klein. The new captain. Kelvin Klein Natividad to be exact." said Claire just before I enter the shower room. And damn! My heart skips faster upon hearing his name.
