Our Story (Elixie)

Chapter 2

The plane finally touched down onto the ground after a long wait of 14 hours. After getting everything done, Nica walked out with her stuff and saw Leia waving furiously at her.

"Leia!" She exclaimed, and the both of them high-fived each other.

Her friend Leia Shane was the sister of that specific Shane living underground. Also a bluenette like her brother, she had her waist long hair tied into stylish twin tails and pink ribbons tied onto them. Her fighting gear was similar to Nica's, but she had two blasters on her belt as well.

They went straight to Leia's house after the airport, and she showed Nica to her room. "Rest up, tomorrow we go straight to Slugterra."

They stood in front of the door that led to the Drop, and Nica gulped. "I can't believe we're doing this," she whispered, and as Leia reached for the door handle, she clutched her backpack tightly, reprimanding herself for that split second of worry.

'You've been waiting for this chance since Trixie went down! Are you sure you want to leave her hanging just because you're not sure if the Drop is safe?'

Her attention was taken back to reality by the sudden creak coming from the old, rickety door opening. Leia shone her torch at the front, slightly revealing the silhouette of a chair-like machine, which, obviously, was The Drop.

"Alright, let's do this," she murmured and sat onto the machine, while her friend powered it up according to a manual she found lying somewhere.

The Drop suddenly went down rapidly right after Leia sat on it, bringing the two girls down to a whole new world.
