BABTQFTIM!Cuphead X Toxic!Reader

I AM SO SORRY FOR NOT UPDATING! I haven't updated recently because there was a.. dinosaur in my backyard, and I had to fight it but it called reinforcements so I had to fight them off and trap them in a different dimension... so yah, that's why I didn't update... anyways this was my idea, basically toxic is something I made up. A toxic person is someone who was an experiment in a lab but something happened that involved toxic gas and gave the test subject strange markings all over their body, and their eyes turn pitch black. Anyways sorry for not updating recently, I've just been really lazy :p Btw your character will basically o nothing of the outside world

(Y/n) POV

My eyes shot open amongst the green liquid that was in my test tube and I gave a cold glare at the scientist who was typing furiously on the computer. He pressed a button which opened a pipe connected to my tube, which let in a blue liquid causing me to try and get away from it. I let out a scream as the blue liquid got to me, they test out chemicals on me everyday which are sometimes okay, but I still don't want it to happen.

I don't really know how I ended up in this lab but I want to get out of this hell, Break free. I heard the scientist give a alarmed shout as a pipe burst and began to flood my test tube with acid. I screamed again as it reached me before going stiff, eyes closing. My eyes shot open again as I felt tingling on my face. Once my eyes were opened fully they were as black as night.

"Call for backup! Now now now!" Shouted a scientist as black marks were burnt onto my face. Once it was done I sank to the bottom of the tube and nearly passed out, my head was spinning and I couldn't feel my legs. All my senses came rushing back to me as a (F/c) jewel appeared on my neck. I instantly shot up with a blank expression on my face as I stared out at all the soldiers and scientists.

The gem on my neck began to glow a charcoal black and my test tube smashed leaving a space for me to float out. Troops began to fire bullets at me but none hit me, like there was a shield around me. I speed towards the entrance and exploded it allowing me to escape. I took a glance back at the lab before my gem glowed a bright orange and exploded the entire thing, leaving nothing but ruins.

I stopped floating and began to run, run away from this dreaded place, sometime along the way I encountered a man who grumbled and scurried off when I bumped into him leaving his sunglasses behind which I quickly snatched and put on to hide my eyes. After the encounter I continued to run until I could run no more and passed out from exhaustion, laying there in the forest unconscious until I was picked up by a stranger and carried away.

I groaned as I woke up to see I wasn't in the same place as i fainted. I looked around to take in my surroundings, a red triangle thingy, a blue version, a black circle thing with smoke coming off (Put out campfire) and lots of tall green things. I yelped as i heard feet walking over towards me. I looked up to see a guy with a Cup for head walking over to me. "Hey, you're awake." He said. I didn't say anything, truth is i've never really had the need to speak. "Do you really need sunglasses at night?" He asked. I nodded and he sighed. "It can be bad for your eyesight." He said before removing them making me shut my eyes.

He leaned over an put the glasses away, He then turned around and noticed my closed eyes, I could slightly see though. "Okay... I'm not going to ask, anyways my names Cuphead, Cup for short. " he introduced. "42." I said quickly. "she speaks!" he said and I had the urge to roll my eyes but there was no point. "Why 42?" He asked. "42 is short for experiment 42." I said. "I think (Y/n) suits you better." Cup said. "Also why would you be called experiment 42? where you created in a lab or something?" He asked and I remained silent, Truth is I didn't know if I had a life before that or if I was created in the lab.

"Would you please open your eyes?" He asked. I debated whether or not I should and figured I wasn't gonna get around like this so i opened my eyes and watched Cup tumbled backwards making me snicker. "Lord!" He said. "So you were created in a lab or something?" I shrugged my shoulders. "Do t know, I may have had a life before becoming and experiment, now I'm toxic, best you don't hug me." I said. I looked at his face and read his emotions, sympathy and sorrow. "But I have escaped now so, yeah..." I said.

I looked around again before asking. "What are these tall pointy things around your setup?" I asked pointing at what I was talking about. "Those are trees." He said. "Treez?" I said trying to copy him. "Trees." he repeated and I final,y got it right.

I gasped when I heard rustling nearby and looked over to see two security guards walking towards us. "Step away from the girl kid." One of them said stalking towards me. "You wouldn't want any trouble now would you?" Said the second. Cup took a step forward and made a gun shape with his hand. "Leave." He stated narrowing his eyebrows. "Whatcha gonna do with that kid?" Asked one. The tip of his finger began to glow light blue and he shot a laser at the two guards who ducked in time. "Next time I won't miss." He said and the guards slowly walked backwards.

I began to float with the gem on my neck Glowing a blinding white. I shot a powerful gust of air at the two blowing them backwards. "Retreat!" Yelled the first before they ran off. I stopped floating and fell down to the ground. "Ow..." I groaned. I looked over amCup to see him looking slightly shocked. "That. Was. AWESOME!" He shouted before tackling me in a hug, I blushed a bright (F/c) at his antics. "Wow (Y/n) You're so cool!" He exclaimed. "R-really?" I said dumbfounded. "Yup!" He said.

I let out a yawn and stretched my arms out before I laid down resting the back of my head on my arms, Cup followed and looked at the white dots in the sky. "The stars are beautiful, just like you." He said and I gasped, I honestly didn't consider myself pretty when I saw my reflection in a shattered mirror a long time ago, more average. I blushed again and he blushed light red and chuckled lightly. I smiled despite myself and soon dozed off next to Cup before he dozed off himself.
