Oh what to do about nothing?

Chapter...Four?

Hey. I'm back. So no one commented on my last chapter so I've posted this... it's pretty short but I'm going to post the next one either later today or Tomorrow depending on if I remember or not. I have no doubt you can guess what is going to happen in the next one (unless you don't watch OUAT... in which case "why are you here?) but I thought I would give a bit of a backstory before introducing the new storyline. Emma is just 18 I this chapter and goes to school outside of Storybrooke.

"Hey mom!" Emma all but yelled as she entered the living room, where her mother was currently reading.

"Good morning dear. Sleep well?" The older woman queried.

"Yeah. Yourself?" Emma smiled at her mother. The older woman closed her book to give full attention to he daughter. "Very well, thank you, sweetheart."

"Good. Good" Emma mused absentmindedly, "so, eh, mom... I was wondering if um... a couple guys from school are um, going to Tallahassee for summer vacation and uh, I've been invited to go. And I uh-"

"Emma, sweetie. You can go." Regina chuckled at her daughters nervousness.

Emma's face broke into an instant smile. "Really?"

"Of course... just don't do anything stupid." The older woman replied.

Emma scoffed and with mocked offense said "Mom, when have I ever done something stupid?"

The older woman turned back to her book and asked "Would you like me to list them alphabetically or chronologically?"

Emma just laughed and ran up stairs to pack.
