MATT'S POV
___________________
Sky came sprinting down the steps and running out of the door with her hair swaying perfectly behind her. I shut the door behind her and locked it. "Hold it there missy!" I say to her. "Whattttt?" "Paparatzi." I remind her. "Oh yeah."
I look around and see nothing out of the ordinary, so I continue to walk to my car, Sky following me. She jumps in the car, hitting her head on the top of the car. "You ok?" I ask concerned. "Yeah, just hurts." Oh yeah! I forgot to mention, I got the big cast off of my leg. Sky also got her cast off too. We are now normal humans, sorta.
As I started driving, my phone started buzzing. "I'll get it!" Sky says grabbing it. "Hello!" There was a little pause. "Yeah, he's driving so he can't really, sorry. Might I ask whom I am speaking with." Once again, there was a pause. What were they saying, bigger question, who is she talking to?! "Uh, yeah, no, sorry." I looked at Sky, still trying not to crash us. She hung up the phone.
"Who was it?" I asked, eager to know. She just sat there looking straight ahead. "Stop the car." She demands. "What?" "STOP THE CAR I WANT OUT!" She yells at me. "What did I do?" I ask confused. "DID YOU NOT HEAR ME THE FIRST TIME YOU IDIOT!" I do as she says and press on the breaks, pulling up to the side of the rode.
She opened the door and jumped out before the car could even roll to a complete stop. Was she going to walk to work?
SKY'S POV
________________
I wasn't angry at Matt, well I sort of was. How could he do that? I thought he.. he.. I thought he loved me. He sure acted like it. I felt bad for taking Matt away from that poor woman. She was sobbing through the phone! I really hope that the lady on the phone, Daisy, doesn't get back with Matt after what he did to her.
I was the reason that he did that to her though.
I shook my head, trying to erase the thought from my mind. I mean, it wasn't that big of a deal or anything. Matt and I weren't serious. We had gone on 1 date, and everything else was pretty much fighting. We were not meant to be together.
As I walked down the rode, it started raining. "Just great." I mumbled to myself. The rain got heavier and heavier with every step that I took until it was pouring down. My once nice hair was dripping, my clothes were soaked, and my shoes were ruined. Just when I thought it couldn't get any worse, a car came up and splashed mud all over me.
It had such an impact that I fell hard on my butt. Being the lazy cow that I am, I just sat there, not bothering to move. After about 5 minutes of sitting, I decided to get up. I couldn't go to work like this, yet again, I couldn't miss work. I checked my phone to see what time it was. I was going to be late to work in 7 minutes. This is just fabulous.
I stood up and spun around so that I was facing east and started walking. I knew that I was sort of far away, so I started to jog. Finally, I found myself in a full sprint. I was running as fast as my legs could carry me, falling a few times, when a car pulled up next to me.
I looked in through the windows of the vehicle to make sure that it wasn't a master criminal or anything. The door flung open and a man with dark brown hair that fell perfectly onto his face, a square jawline, and a nice suit that fit magicly onto his slim body.
"Want a ride, looks like you are having a bit of a rough day." He says "How do I know that you are not some sort of murderer out to get me?" I ask furrowing my eyebrows at him. "Well, I have no way to prove it, but you could go with what your gut instinct tells you to do." He says flashing a smile.
"Ok." I give in sliding into his car. I shut the door behind me and he starts driving the direction that I was walking. "Where are you heading?" "BBC studios please." I say as polite as I could, though I don't know how well I covered up my anger. "Wow chick, you seem pretty angry." He states.
I didn't hide it very well.
I tell him what happened. "Well, there is this guy named Matt and we were in the car heading to work when he gets a call. He was driving so I answered for him. The lady on the other end of the call, Daisy, told me that they were dating. Apparently, he lied to me. He asked me to be his girlfriend, then I passed out so I don't know where that left us." I sighed.
"Sounds like you need a break from your life." He says, "What was your name by the way?" He asked me. "Makenna, though everyone calls me Sky. What was your name?" "Xavier, it's pronounced zav-hee-er though." Xavier says. "That's a difficult name." I say "Yeah." "I'll call you Zavier." I say with a smile. "I like that." Zavier says.
