As we walked toward the remains of the village, I paused, knelt down, put my fingertips on the earth, and concentrated.
Gradually, the earth shifted to form a handle. As I pulled on it, a shield made of the hardest metal emerged; studded with brown quartz forming the symbol for earth.
I opened the handle, and pulled out a dagger with the same symbol and a blade edged with diamond that could cut through the toughest material.

As Aaron caught up to me, I tugged on the strap of my backpack and instantly, it turned into a bow.
I raised my hands and a flurry developed above me, out of which fell a quiver of arrows made of the hardest and sharpest ice- they could pierce through the thickest of chainmail.
Then, with weapons in hand, Aaron and I trudged through the heaps of ash that, until a few hours ago, was a populated village.
