Chapter I

Y/N's POV

"Darlin, please come downstairs for a moment" I heard my mom, she seems really worried... what's up with her? I ran down the stairs. She, Appa and my brother Yoon Gi were there.
"Is Something wrong?" They were looking straight into my eyes, except for Oppa, he was looking down, probably sleepy as always.
"Y/N, Appa and I decided that it's time for you to have our family diner...We are getting old and we want to retire" Wait...what?
"Umm..alright, but why are you so worried? Are you sick or something?"

"What? No, no. Y/N, you see, we can't give it to you so easily, We need to know if you deserve it" Yoon Gi said. I think it's the first time he spoke to me since I've been home.
"Oh I see, you think I'm not worthy enough to put it back on its feet" He smiled, is that all? ? Is he high or something?
"Na-ah...But I'll leave soon and you, Eomma and Appa have to talk about this. I'm out, I have a meeting with my manager" He runs out the door.

"Anyways, we'll need you to work as a waiter, until we can finally retire. That way we will be able to see if you're worthy to own our diner, if not, your brother will be the one to have it" I nod my head.
"Alright. So, tomorrow's my first day?" My mom smiled
"Yes, your days of waking up at lunch time are over, Y/N"

My alarm is so stupidly annoying I swear, I always set it to be Stay by BlackPink, but it always changes on its own. This stupid phone...anyway, I made the bed, I took a shower and did my makeup as I always do.
As I walked into the living room, I noticed my parents are gone which means they are already at the diner.
I need to get there fast, it's my first day and I'm already late? Na-ah, this isn't going to happen!

I've been here all day and to be honest there's nothing interesting happening! I served costumers all day, but nothing caught my eye.
"Miss!" I heard a girl shouting, I hope she's the last one today, I'm bored of taking orders.
I turned around and  saw her long brown hair. She had a black cap on. I walked up to her. Her face was covered by a mask, but she put it under her chin to talk to me. I couldn't help myself, I was staring at her lips, they look so kissable...

"Miss, my friends will be here soon, can you take my order now?" She was wearing sun glasses, I wish I was able to see her eyes.
"Ummm..Yes, of course " I took a deep breath trying my best not to stutter. She smiled. Is this love at first sight?
"You're new here, aren't you? We always have lunch at this diner" A red haired walked in, same outfit, same glasses. Both of them look so familiar but I can't get my finger around it.
"I'm sorry! I'm late, I want some BingSoo! Just BingSoo! I'm really really sorry that I'm late Unnie, They can't have lunch with us, still at practice" I kept staring at them as I wrote down their order, did I met them somewhere?

I wrote down everything they ordered. I gave my mom the note at the counter and sat down. What's wrong with me? Why am I not able to take my eyes off that girl?
