Chapter XV

I've been in my office since morning working on some paperwork for the restaurant.

"Y/N, we need to talk with you" My parents  bursted through the door. I put away some papers and told them to sit down
"Y/N, I'm afraid I can't work anymore. I'm not feeling good. Maybe it's the old age or I have some health issues. I need to get it checked out" My dad said, I sighed
"I won't work here without your Appa, Y/N. We built this restaurant with our sweat and tears, I won't do it without him. We can either close it down and sell it, or you can try finding people who are in need of a Job. It's up to you my darling"

I bit my lip looking around the room. We can't sell the restaurant, neither closing it will do because I need this. I have YoungSoon as a waiter, but it's not enough
"But Eomma, Appa, we can't close the restaurant! I'll find people! We just need a chef, right? I can try but I won't promise my food is as good as yours!" I frowned. This isn't supposed to happen right now when everything is going so well.

"I'm sorry, Y/N. Give it a try" My mom said
"Y/N, somebody is here to see you!" YoungSoon said, interrupting Eomma
"Let them in, Unnie!" Chae-Young walked in, looking at her feet
"Annyeonghaseyo, I'm sorry if I'm disturbing" She bowed down
"It's okay, Sweetie! Take a seat, we'll be out in a minute" Appa said. I gave him a weird look because usually he's really tough on my friends he doesn't know.

"As I was saying, it's up to you. Just let us know because we are preparing to rent the building or to sell it if your plan doesn't work. Give it a try, maybe cook yourself for a bit until you find someone."
"Eomma, you know I hate cooking!" They both shrugged and left the room.

Rose took her mask off and leaned against my table, grabbing my hand. I looked up at her.

"Is everything alright?" I nodded and told her about my parents decision
"Maybe we can help you" I shook my head
"No! It's okay, really! Plus you have a lot on your mind already, you don't need to stress yourself with my problems also" She smiled

"It doesn't bother me and we really can help you! Jennie and I can cook. We make amazing food. Lisa can wash the dishes and Jisoo Unnie can clean around the kitchen while you and YoungSoon greet and serve people. There's no way of people recognising us, as we won't be in the front of the restaurant! I really want to help you, Y/N. " I giggled and kissed her hand.

"You'll do that for me? But what would your managers say? They have to approve it, right?" She gave me a peck on the lips
"I'll talk with them and the girls! And if this won't be possible, I promise we'll find a way. I have to go now. See you later? " Before she could leave, I kissed her..
