Meanwhile, Prisma was on the Isle of Crystals. "Oh, it feels so good to grow crystals again," she smirked. "Now the magic of the Mystic Isles will all be mine!"

"Prisma!" Sofia's angry voice rang out.

Prisma turned around, and Sofia was coming after her with her friends. "Ah, we meet again, Sofia, and I see you brought friends instead of that selfish sister of yours."

"Amber may have been selfish the first time we were here, but she put everyone's needs before her own," Sofia reminded her. "I thought we destroyed your Terra Crystal."

"You did, but I have something new," Prisma told her. She held up a shiny blue wand that looked just like Shuriki's.

"That looks like the wand Queen Shuriki used," Daisy realized.

"Yes, it does," Sofia agreed. "How did you get that?"

"The Isle of Wishes," Prisma revealed. "I said I'd get revenge on you for my last failure, and I will! Say your prayers, Your Highness!" She pointed her wand at Sofia, ready to strike her down.

But Hugo went and jumped in front of Sofia and growled, "Not so fast, Prisma! If you want to strike Sofia, you'll have to get through me!"

"Hugo!" Axel yelped.

"No, Hugo, don't do it!" Sofia cried.

"I'm sorry, but it's for your own good," Hugo told her. "I can't let her take your life—or let you get trapped inside your amulet again."

Sofia realized that she was trapped inside her amulet when Princess Hildegard nearly murdered her with a gold spell. "I'm not going to let Prisma take your life either!" she told Hugo. She took her amulet off and put it on Hugo.

"Crystallo!" Prisma recited.

A green murder crystal showed and was about to strike Hugo.

"No!" Axel cried.

But as the crystal hit Hugo, he was surrounded by a bright green flash of light. As the light faded away, Hugo had disappeared, and the Amulet was still here—but it turned emerald green. Sofia was relieved at what had happened. She picked up the Amulet and put it back on—and that's when the jewel glowed.

"Well, that takes care of your boyfriend—now I can take of you!" Prisma told Sofia. "Crystallo!"

Prisma conjured another murder crystal and was about to strike Sofia—only for the Amulet to glow, and Sofia was covered by a shield. The crystal hit the shield, but the jewel disintegrated.

"What happened?" Prisma gasped. "I'll worry about it later. I have more crystals to grow." Just like that, she disappeared.

"What just happened?" Garrick asked.

"The same thing happened to Princess Elena the day Shuriki invaded Avalor," Daisy said. "Shuriki tried to murder Elena only for the Amulet to save her life by pulling her inside it."

Everyone looked at the jewel—which was now green—and saw that Hugo was indeed inside the Amulet. Thanks to Sofia, Hugo was safe.

"The same thing happened to me once before," Sofia recalled. "That's why I put my amulet on Hugo when he tried to sacrifice his life for me."

"How sweet," Sara grinned. "Do you think he has to do with that shield covering you?"

Axel realized, "He does! With each deed performed for better or worse, a power is granted—a blessing or curse. You saved Hugo's life with the Amulet, so he blessed you with that shield to save yours." He and Garrick hugged Sofia.

"Thank you, sweetie," Garrick smiled.

"No problem," Sofia smiled.

"Actually, we have two problems," Sara frowned. "We have to stop Prisma and get Hugo out of that jewel—and we don't know what to do first."

Suddenly, Sofia's amulet glowed and showed a picture of a green jewel. Sofia recognized this jewel.

"That's the amulet Prisma gave Amber after getting her Terra Crystal back," Sofia realized.

"Does this mean we have to get a jewel like that?" Axel asked.

Sofia remembered when Amber got this amulet, she was upset that it was powerless—and that gave her an idea. "No, when Prisma gave Amber that amulet, it was defective," she recalled. "It didn't have any power until we came back to her. I think Hugo wants us to get a defective wand."

"What for?" Garrick asked.

"I'll explain later," Sofia declared. "We need to get the Isle of Wishes." She used to WhichWay Bow to direct them to the Isle of Wishes.
