Sorry, this will probably be short. And I haven't updated in awhile. I'm going to be writing all day and I hope you know that I haven't abandoned this. I love this series and I hope you enjoy this.

I pulled up and got out of my car then walked towards a building that I assumed was the council's office. I was about to knock but the door flew open, scaring me a bit. "AHH!" My arms in a x in front of me for defence. "Why hello there! You must be (Y/N). I'm David, one of the councillors that you might be working with!" The supposed David said cheerfully with a bright smile plastered onto his face. "Well, I am (Y/N), nice to meet you David. You see, I saw the ad in the paper and I thou-" "That's great! We'll fill it up in no time! I can tell we're going to be great friends!" He took me by the hand and dragged me into the tent, leaving me with no choice but to let it happen.
He was right.
We were going to be great friends.

oOo Two weeks later oOo

David had let me take a break so I went into our shared cabin and sat on my bed and took out my ukulele then began to adjust it. I finished adjusting it and began to play a cover of 'Can't help falling in love with you'. I strummed the ukulele and began to try and get my rhythm, humming the notes to myself then began to sing.

I continued singing, unaware of David's presence outside the door; listening to me sing.

I finished the second verse then took a deep breath. David just listened and smiled softly and slid against the boards and sat in a ball and hummed to softly, trying not to get caught.

I finished the song and put the ukulele back in its case. I started to walk towards the door and I opened it, hitting something with the door. "Owie" I hear someone say that, it was David, then I looked behind the door and saw David sitting in a ball; panicking.

I lost my breath and spoke while shaking slightly "h-how much did y-you hear?" I asked and David said "None of it....most of it." He put his head down, prepared to get hit. "David." I said worriedly and he jumped up quickly "You sing amazingly! Can you sing for me?" He asked gleefully then I smiled nervously then nodded, considering the fact that I had a hug- small crush on him.
I brought out my ukulele once again and David sat excitedly on the other side of my bed.

I finished another song and David sat there looking nervous; which was kind of weird to see for me. "David? Are you okay? Your face is red" I began to lift my hand to check his temperature. "I just need to say something." I nodded, trying to figure what he needed to say. "Come on, Bud. Just say what you need to say" I reassured him, trying to hide my blush. He took a deep breath and spoke quickly "Ilikeyouanditsnotthefriendway. I'm gonna go!" He exclaimed then ran out of the door, leaving. Me speechless.

"I like you too"
