First Death

Elizabeth's Pov

Meliodas and I were decorating my room.

"What color do you want?" Meliodas asked.

"Pink, please," I smiled then, he smiled too. He painted my room with the pink paint. Then, we let it dry.

After some hours, we stick it with some anime.

"Cute," I smiled.

"Done. Now, the furniture," Meliodas said. We rearranged the furniture.

"Where do you want to put the bed?" Meliodas asked.

"Maybe next to the window. I heard humans pray next to the window at night," I smiled then, he laughed and he put the bed next to the window.

After half an hour, we were done.

"Wow," I said then, he asked me:

"Do you like it?"

"I do," I smiled and hugged him and he hugged back.

"That's good. Now, why don't we have cookies," he said and I got excited. Super excited.

"Yes, please," I said. And we ate cookies. I was also wondering...

When will I experienced my first death?

Satoshi's Pov

"Her first death will happen soon. She have 8 hours before that happens," I said. If she became a human, I'll take her away from Meliodas.

If she still sticks with Meliodas and she's already a human, she'll return into a Neko again and will never be a human.

As long as her Neko soul is still near her and she's already a human, her cat ears, tail and her powers will return. And she'll feel an extraordinary pain.

Elizabeth's Pov

7 hours passed and it's afternoon. Meliodas went out to buy me an ice cream.

I was inside my new room, thinking about my first death. I wonder when will that happens?

An hour passed...

"He's surely taking a while, now. Where could he-" I stopped. Something doesn't feel right.

"Ahh" I stood up but, I fell on the bed. I touched my chest. I can't breathe. My heart... it hurts.

"Aaaahhhh!!!" I yelled as hard as I could.

Meliodas' Pov

"Whoopdee-doo, that was a long line. It took me an hour," I sighed as I walked towards the house.

"Aaaaahhhhh!!"

"Elizabeth?!" I yelled. I entered the house and ran towards her room.

I tried to open her room but, it was locked.

"Elizabeth, open this door," I yelled but, she didn't do anything.

Third Person's Pov

As Meliodas knocked, Elizabeth was covering her mouth for Meliodas not to get worried. But obviously, she was too late.

She yelled once more and the door slammed open. Meliodas kicked it.

He ran to her and held her in his arms.

"Elizabeth, are you okay?" Meliodas asked, all Elizabeth can do was made a weak smile.

"Elizabeth, why are you smiling? Can't you see, you're suffering," Meliodas said as a tear formed in his right eye.

"Because... I'm... having... my first... death," she said and put her right hand on his left cheek.

"Darn it. I don't care if you're a Neko. If you need to die just to become a human, then, don't do it. I don't care, as long as you're with me. I'm fine..." Meliodas said.

"It's... too... late. My soul... is in you and... I-" she stopped and her eyes closed. Her hand on his left cheek was dropped.

"Eli... zabeth?" No answer...

"Hey, Elizabeth. Wake up," Meliodas shook her but, it didn't work.

"Elizabeth, don't do this," Meliodas said then, his tears showed up.

"Don't try, you'll just waste your energy,"

Looking back, Meliodas saw Satoshi.

"She's dead but, she'll be alive by tomorrow morning. This is the process of a Neko to a human," Satoshi said, Meliodas stood up and carry Elizabeth to her bed.

He sat on the floor, next to the bed. He held her hand...

Satoshi felt the jealousy so, he used his teleportation to go back to his house.

"Elizabeth, I promise you, when you wake up, you'll see, I'm still here... next to you. I won't leave by your side. Elizabeth, have a good night sleep, okay?" Meliodas said as he held her hand tighter and he fell asleep.
