Reunited

Third Person's Pov

Birds chirping...

Elizabeth's eyes opened and her head went right. She saw Meliodas. Holding her hand so tight.

"Did I... have my first death?" She asked herself and she sat up. The hand on hers tighten, never want to let her go.

Meliodas woke up.

"Huh? Oh, Elizabeth. Are you all right?" He asked as he stood up.

"Y-yeah," she nodded and he hugged her.

"I was so worried," he said then, Elizabeth pat his back.

"S-sorry for worrying you, I'm okay now," she smiled then, Meliodas looked at her.

"Um, is that the ice cream you bought?" She asked, pointing the melted ice cream on the floor.

"Oh, I forgot to put it in the fridge," he said as he looked at it.

"But anyways, the thing that matters is that you're OK now," he smiled and hugged her and of course, she returned the favor.

"Meliodas, after 100 days, I can be with you as a human and I can't wait for that to happen," she said.

"Me too, Elizabeth, me, too," he said.

In The Neko World...

"Where could he be?" Margaret asked as the two Neko walked around the ruined kingdom. Everything was a mess. The kingdom was demolished.

Suddenly, on top of a part of the broken piece of the kingdom, they saw someone standing there, glowing and looking at the sky.

"Fa...ther?" Veronica asked, slowly. The mysterious person turned around and smiled.

"Father," Margaret smiled and the two ran to their Father. Baltra hugged his two daughters as the two reached him.

"Father, you're okay," Margaret cried.

"Yeah, I thought you were gone for real," Veronica sobbed.

"Sorry, I did not tell you. I just wanted the three of you live as a person," he said as he pat their backs.

"Father, let's go. Ellie missed you," said Veronica.

"Okay, but, I will not take long there. I must revive the kingdom and once that was done, I can call the Nekos back here," he said.

"Except for Elizabeth," Margaret said.

"What do you mean?"

"She's on the process of becoming a human,"

"She is what?" He was shocked.

"Something wrong?" Veronica tilted her head.

"Why did you let her be in that process? She will experience death 4 times. The more she experience death, the more pain she will feel," he said.

"Father, she's in good hands. Her lover has her Neko Soul. Don't worry, as long as her lover is on by her side, she'll never feel an extraordinary pain," Margaret said.

"I hope we can trust him," Baltra said.

"Yes, we can. Now, shall we go?" Margaret asked then, Baltra nodded and they entered the portal.

Meanwhile...

"Meliodas, what happened last night?" Elizabeth asked.

"Except of you experiencing death, Satoshi went here and told me not to waste my energy on waking you up and said that you'll wake up by morning. Elizabeth, please, just stop this process of yours. I can't stand it when you're suffering in this pain," Meliodas said as he held her hands. She smiled.

"Don't worry, I'll be fine. As long as you stay with me, I'll be fine," she reassured him.

"Are you sure?" He asked.

"I am. Besides, 3 more deaths to go and I'll be a human," she exclaimed.

"So, you've said you'll be in this process for a hundred days so that means, you have only 99 days. Ah, I know. Let's make a calendar," Meliodas said.

"A what?"

"A calendar. It is a table of days, weeks and months of the year noting public holidays etc." Meliodas explained.

"Oh, okay," Elizabeth said

"Now, let's make one. There is a white board in my room. All we have to do is to put 100 numbers in that board, come on," Meliodas smiled then he grabbed her wrist and took her to his room.

"Okay, here's the marker. Oh, can you hold this for a while?" Meliodas said as he handed the marker to her and he looked under his bed to look for the white board.

Once he got it, he turned to Elizabeth. But he stopped walking to her.

"Elizabeth, what have you done?!" Meliodas scolded her.

"Sorry, I don't know how to use this!" Elizabeth said. When Meliodas was looking under his bed a while ago, Elizabeth was using the marker all over her face. So, she was full of scribbles on her face.

"Let's go clean your face up," Meliodas sighed as she took her to the bathroom.

He used a towel to remove the scribbles on her face.

"Good thing this isn't permanent," Meliodas said as she wiped the scribbles.

"Sorry, I still don't have any knowledge about things on Earth," she blushed and pouted.

"It's okay. I think it's pretty cute," Meliodas smiled. Suddenly, knocks were heard from the door.

"Who could that be?" Meliodas asked then both of them stood up and walked towards their door.

"Ellie," it was her sisters.

"Sisters, what brings you here?" Elizabeth asked then they smiled.

"We have a surprise for you," Margaret said then Meliodas and Elizabeth looked at each other.

Margaret and Veronica move out of the way as the two shows their beloved father.

"Father?" Elizabeth's eyes widen.

"Elizabeth dear, how are-" Baltra was cut off when Elizabeth rushed to him and hugged him

"Father, oh, Father," Elizabeth cried then he hugged back.

"Elizabeth, do not cry, your father is right here. You are still a crybaby as always," he smiled then Elizabeth smiled too.

"Father, I'm not a crybaby anymore. I am strong now," Elizabeth said as more tears streamed down.

"You have always been," her father pat her head. Suddenly, Baltra saw Meliodas.

"Are you Elizabeth's lover?" He asked him

"Uh... yes," Meliodas said.

"You know that she is a Neko?" Baltra asked then Meliodas nodded again, Baltra smiled.

"You, my boy, must stick with her, okay? Protect her, do not break her heart," Baltra said.

"I promise. I'll be the stick-est glue that ever lived in this world. I won't let her go," he smiled at Elizabeth and Elizabeth smiled at him and said thank you with no sound.

"Group hug," Margaret shouted.

"What's a group hug?"  Elizabeth asked.

"We'll hug together," Veronica explained then the Liones Family hugged together. Meliodas watched Elizabeth smiled.

Suddenly, while they were hugging, Baltra lend his hand out for Meliodas to grab.

Meliodas grabbed his hand and, oh, Meliodas doesn't have any idea why he was lending his hand for him.

Then Baltra pulled him in and made him joined the group hug.

The Liones family has been reunited again...
