I took a deep breath before positioning myself in the pitcher's place. I glanced at the batter, who was standing there with shaky legs, obviously scared of my throw. I smirked and rubbed the tiny ball in my leather glove. I narrowed my eyes trying to calculate the distance between me and the batter. I heard a loud whistle and gathered all of my energy in my right hand. I swung my hand back and threw the ball as strong as I could. Unfortunately, it landed in the catcher's glove and I sighed. "Can this boy finally land the ball on his batt?" -I thought. I got another ball and this time the batter finally knocked the ball into the air, but not so high. The batter starred at the ball that was flying just above our heads and then probably remembered that he had to run. Luckily our catcher had fast legs, so in no time the ball was in his glove. That meant that we scored a point. And we won by that. Our team "Tigers" ran in a circle and started to jump up and down in happiness. Finally the joy died down and we went to shower and change. We headed in our changing room. All I could see was the backs of our players' t-Shirts that spelled "TIGERS". I got to my locker and spinned the lock, it released a tick sound, which meant that it's unlocked.
"Hey, Ryu, nice throws" -Kygo said, while passing by and giving me a high five. I nodded and smashed my hand into his. Kygo was the batter in our team and apperaently I was his crush, Kygo was fine, but I saw him as a good friend than a lover. I was usually the pitcher, but I could've been the batter easily too, because I was great at knocking the ball off.
Our team was a mix of girls and boys. I finally got myself ready to head home, when Hyun - my best friend, who also enjoys baseball, grabbed my arm, automatically making me face her.
"You're not going to celebrate? In Jae's house? " - Hyun said and smirked, because she knew that I had a crush on him.
"No, Hyun, I'm tired. I think I'll head home. But have fun!" -I replied and yawned. Hyun nodded and let me go.
I got in my car and started the engine. I was at home in a couple of minutes, since I didn't really live far from the court. I searched through my pile of keys trying to find the one for the house. I succeeded and got in.
"Dad, Nari, I'm home" -I shouted, while locking the door and removing my boots. Suddenly Nari ran down the stairs with open arms. Nari was my little sister, she was 6 years old. "Heeey" -I smiled, while hugging and picking her up.
I carried her to the kitchen and put on the top of one of the counters. I placed my bag next to her and layed each of my arms to each side of her.
"What do you want for dinner?" -I said playfully and touched the tip of her nose.
"Pasta!" -she said while clapping her hands.
"Where is the magical word?" -I said and raised my eyebrows at her.
"Unnie, please" -Nari whinned.
"Okay, now go play until dinner's ready" -I took her off the counter and released her. I grinned, when I saw her little legs running away from me.
I grabbed a pot, filled it with water and put it on the stove. While I was waiting for the water to boil I checked what I needed to do for homework and when is the training tomorrow. I pouted at the sight of how much homework had to be done. I was checking the schedule, when I got a picture from Hyun. It was her with Jae taking a selfie. I smiled widely and sighed, while admiring Jae's handsomeness. I poured the pasta in the boiling water and after a couple of minutes dinner was ready. I put the meal into three plates and just the two of them I placed on the table.
