chapter two: waking up

Ty gripped his head his vision blurry with sand bits. He wiped his eyes opening them fully. Seagulls flew above him cawing about whether to go down and investigate.  He pushed himself up before yelping at the feeling of pain. He looked down at the long claw marks from his chest to his stomach. He winced softly at the stinging feeling. Wait. Where the hell was his shirt! He was shirtless! He looked around realizing the problem. His eyes widened at the sight of a man. He was on a rock laying on his stomach. He had his elbow propped up his chin on his palm. His eyes were softly and his smile made your heart explode. Tyler grew hot at the sight. He was wearing some sort of neckles- WAIT HE WAS SHIRTLESS TOO! Tyler started to Frick out. What happened? He started to breath improperly causing him to get blue and flipped the other man out as well. " Hey calm down!" He said softly. Whoa...his voice was as smooth as silk. It calmed tyler down. The brunette started to think. He liked jenna..but why did this man make him feel...different about her now? "I'm josh. You are?" He asked tilting his head. Tyler looked up at  him quickly. He had a mermaid tail. A mermaid tail. What. WHaT?! Tyler kept his gaze at the yellow scalely tail. "Um..hello? Josh to random person!" He said cutting through tylers thoughts. " o-oh..I'm sorry. I-im tyler" he said studdery. He hadn't been this nervous before.. he was even more nervous around josh then jenna. Josh definitely made him feel differently. Josh smiled at him which made his heart melt. "Well tyler. You got cut up pretty bad by a nightstalker." He said. Tyler looked down slightly touching the wound. Mistake. Bad mistake. He started to cry at the pain. It was unbearable.  Josh raised his eyebrows and leapt from the rock. As he did his tail changed to two human legs with rustic yellow pants. Tyler clinched his fist as the tears fell. Josh sat down in front of him pulling him for a hug of comfort. Here tyler was with two scars and hugging a man he barly knew. Yet he kept a death grip on josh. He felt safe around him.
