Chapter 21~ Finding.

*Iris's p.o.v*

Beep, beep, beep.

Breath in.

Breath out.

And yet again.

..

Wait what!?

My eyes snapped open, I was greeted by a blinding light. I slowly got used to it and noticed I was in a white room, with large glasses on the wall where I could see on the other side. I moved my arms, seeing they were tied up. The hell!? I narrowed my eyes, starting to restle with the ties. I was connected to a breathing device and some wires were on my wrists, my clothes had also been changed to white hospital cloath.

My eyes looked down to see my stomach all bare and showing.

.. They know.

I soon noticed someone enter the hall and see none other than June and my father, companied by.. mayor?

The mayor was a man with late 50's, very old and nice guy, most of the time. He was known of his bitter temper and attitude also. He looked like normal granny with gray hair and bear, he wore black suit and white smock under it, then he always carried this clock with him.

The door opened and they all stepped in, I moved bit on my spot back.

"It's time for some explaining, girl." Mayor stated sternly. "Could you please tell me what's that?" He pointed my stomach, I looked away. "I asked a question-!"

"Let me try." June reassured, my dad made hesitant nod and mayor only sighed. "Iris, you're not in trouble, if any, we just want to know why you're pregnant.. and to who?"

"If I do, you'll remove it." I growled, worried.

"It? You don't know?" June asked, my eyes locked with hers. "Wait-" She took out a machine, and put cold liquid on my stomach, then pressed the device on my stomach, a screen formed onto one TV. "Look." She said warmly, my eyes widened.

H... How?

"You're waiting twins." Dad groaned, his arms crossed. "But that other aren't exactly human." He continued and walked up on my right, showing towards it. "Tell me.. that you haven't been with those creatures."

I stared in disbelief at the fetuses on the gray screen, ignoring first my Dad's yells. Twins.

Oh scrap!

".. Of course not." I defended, turning my look away once more but with hesitant look.

"Then explain me what is that! You haven't brought to me any boyfriends near by!" He yelled, I flinched bit.

"Enough!" June growled back, while taking the device off and wiping the thing on my stomach off. "She needs rest! If she desides to keep the babies it's her choice!"

"Not if it includes country's safety." Mayor spoke up, I glared at him.

"I can assure you, if he finds out-!"

"He? Your secret boyfriend?" Dad asked with snarl, I glared at him too.

"Exactly."

"The other is still human mayor!" June defended. "We have shortage of young ones!"

"Then we have to maybe remove the other one." Dad growled, I had small tears in my eyes and stared in disbelief at him.

"Out! You have no rights before the goverments tells what to do!" June yelled, pushing those two out. I sobbed there, looking down at my stomach.
