Eloi woke up at six o'clock in the morning again. It was not the first time she couldn't sleep well. She got down of the bed and pressed the breakfast button. A bowl of cereal and milk came out of the white wall. Then she pressed another button, and a sofa and TV appeared. She sat on it and grabbed the remote control to turn on the TV, choosing one of those old documentals about the universe. There wasn't much to watch though. She sighed and started eating her cereal.

"A long time ago, when people still lived in this planet called Earth, scientists discovered something amazing..." She yawned. She already watched that.

Her place didn't have many "cool" things; it was just a sphere with six feet of diameter. To her right there were buttons, 56 to be exact, which with just pushing them she could get what she needed to live. At the top of the sphere there was a small rectangular window where she could see nothing except darkness and bright shiny dots of different colours. "I wish I could open that window and touch the tiny dots," she thought.

"It's the Universe and you already know what happens if you open that window, don't you?" said a computerized voice.

"Silence, Nova" hushed Eloi.

Nova was somewhere inside her small house, all she could hear was her voice. She raised Eloi and she was the only one she knew in the world. All she learnt was because of Nova.

"Let me dream".

"You also know that you can't dream," reminded Nova.

"Yeah, I do. But it sounds good if I just say the word" replied Eloi with half a smile in her face. She knew she couldn't dream but she liked when Nova told her not to when she thought about it. Eloi laid down in her couch admiring the dark sky.

"Ai... Aiden.... Wake up!" said a voice.

"What the..." water splashed in his face, "ORION!!" growled Aiden.

"Oh come on, it's already nine, wake up!!" Orion seemed excited, "You have to tell me something, don't you!"

Aiden still lying in his bed raised his hand trying to find the bath button. He was so tired but excited, Orion made him stay up all night to finish his research about the stars mystery.

When he finished bathing, he pressed the breakfast button and some sausages and eggs came out of the wall.

"So, what were you going to tell me?" asked Orion.

"Well, after the research I did yesterday night, I came up with a conclusion," said Aiden chewing some sausages, "... remember when you told me about the dance of stars and how we find our other half? Take a look now..."

The TV appeared showing the Universe's map. Two red dots showed in the outer arm of the Milky Way galaxy.

"Okay, so it takes place right here," one of the dots started flashing, "and we are right here." The other one turned green. It didn't seem that far away but knowing the Universe, it was that far away.

"There's only one month left for this and we need to prepare," said Aiden willingly.

"Is that what you discovered?" asked Orion and Aiden bet he was raising an eyebrow.

"Wait I'm not done," the map zoomed and two huge dark stars emerged, "Right in the middle of this system I found Nix, the goddess of the night, the one controlling our spheres and this one is Erebus, the god of the darkness, he turns around Nix to protect her from us."

"Why would he want to protect her?"

"Here is my conclusion," Aiden cleared his throat, "I think she's the only one who can dream, Orion. She can gives us an answer but Erebus, he's waiting for her to wake up and he'll steal her dreams away. If we could just get rid of him, and find an answer. We'd finally get out of this sphere!"

Eloi changed into her gown and sat in front of her dressing table braiding her hair. She was so excited that finally she would meet her other star.

"You look so beautiful!" exclaimed Nova.

"Thank you, Nova" said Eloi looking at the camera in the wall, "but don't you think this dress is a little too much?" she said looking at the feathers and diamonds in her brisket.

"You look dazzling, darling. Everyone will drop their jaws when they see you." Nova said proudly.

When Eloi finished getting ready, she pressed the transparency button. The dressing table vanished as well as the sphere's white walls. Her heart raced when the star started moving. She could see the entire dark sky splattered with small dots moving with her in the same direction. She put both hands on the glass and drew near it to get a better view.

"This is awesome!!" shouted Eloi.

"Remember, when we get there, there's goi..." Nova stopped.

"Nova?"

"I feel something" Eloi's star was moving faster and faster.

"Nova where are we going?" Eloi was trying not to panic, "Woah!! Nova?" the capsule was moving too fast she couldn't keep both feet steady, "Answer me! What's happening?"
