A burst of sunlight glows through the windows, awakening a young mare.
Her face tan, her wavy mane with reds of dark and light.
Her eyes slowly open, revealing a green seen on petals of clover.
She stretches a bit, and grumbles as she does.
The mare gingerly gets out of the bed, and exits her house.
She trots towards one of her many flower beds and waters a few of her violets.
"Hey Roseluck!" exclaims a voice from behind.
Rose turns to see a lavender pony, with a mane colored with purple.
She smiles and responds tiredly with a yawn "Hey Amethyst, what's up?"
"Nothin much! You look like you just woke up!" Amethyst excitedly answers.
"Yeah...I kinda did heh.." Rose responds.
Amethyst asks delightedly "So..wanna have some breakfast?"
"Sure." Rose answers before yawning again.
She trots alongside Amethyst, as they depart from her house.
"So how has your garden been?" Amethyst asks during the stroll.
Rose grins a bit and responds "It's been going well. "
Shortly after speaking Rose eyes a light blue mare with a wide smile on her face rushing towards her.
"Amethyst! Rose! Guess what guess what?!" She ecstatically cheers.
Rose smiles and asks "What is it Lyra?"
Lyra squeals with joy "So I hear that they have milkshakes at Sugarcube Corner! So I was wondering is it possible that I could have my first milkshake from Sugarcube Corner with my friends?" she requests.
Amethyst exclaims "Yes we'd love to!"
Rose nods her head, and all three trot off to Sugarcube Corner.
