Tarvasliatria feels the warm water in the tub she sits in relax her.

She allows herself to mute out the noises of the outside and focus on her thoughts.

That pony I met earlier...something about him makes him hard to not think about... she thinks, and she creates an image of Drew in her mind.

Suddenly the slamming of a door interrupts her thinking, and she gives the guard who has intruded a fierce glance.

"What is it?!" Tarvasliatria snaps.

"Your highness, I have received word that we'll have enough weapons and soldiers ready by tomorrow." the guard reports.

"Excellent. Now get out!" Tarvasliatria shouts, and the guard complies.

Tarvasliatria goes back to her thinking.

In a few days I will not only rule the Pastels but also control many other empires! she thinks with pride, and again pictures Drew.

He's kind of a pretty stallion... she comments to herself.

Suddenly the guard comes back into the room, and Tarvasliatria faces him with a glance that would murder him if looks could kill.

"What is it now?!" Tarvasliatria shouts.

"Drew is here to see you." the guard responds, shaken from being yelled at.

Tarvasliatria feels her anger vanish the instant she hears the name.

"Let him in." she gently requests.

The stallion of her fantasy enters the room, but quickly backs up when he sees that she is taking a bath.

"Oh! I didn't mean to interrupt you at a time like this!" Drew says alarmed, turning his head away from Tarvasliatria, who giggles when he does.

"Don't worry. What did you want to see me for?" Tarvasliatria asks.

"Well, I wanted to get to know you a little more. You seem interesting." Drew answers. "Tarvasliatria does not have time to get to know her slaves!" the guard yells, who points his spear at Drew's pelt.

"Get out!" commands Tarvasliatria.

The guard leaves, and Tarvasliatria goes back to talking to Drew.

"Sorry for that. Anyways you'd like to get to know me, huh? Well, I like singing."

Then Tarvasliatria starts singing a melody which soothes Drew with every clear and lovely note that is sung.

"You make the morning birds jealous." Drew compliments when Tarvasliatria finishes. "Thanks." Tarvasliatria says, a little blush showing in her cheeks.

"You know, you don't have to be my slave. Perhaps we can rule together." she adds.

"You don't have to be evil." points Drew.

"Well, being evil is the only way to get land and luxury, which makes me happy." Tarvasliatria explains.

"Is land and riches all you need to be happy? Having someone you can count on to be there for you can be pleasing as well." Drew counters.

"I'm just fine sitting in a throne with all of Equestria bowing to me." Tarvasliatria says confidently.

"You're still going to attack other empires?" Drew asks.

"Yes of course." Tarvasliatria answers.

Drew sits and says nothing.

"Is something wrong?" questions Tarvasliatria.

"I'm alright. See you tomorrow." Drew mutters as he exits the room.

He is escorted out of the castle and finds the eight ponies.

"Is she going to not attack?" asks Bon Bon.

"I tried to talk her out of it, but she still intends to fight tomorrow." Drew reports with disappointment.

"It looks like we're going to have to settle this with a battle." Cloud Kicker says.

The other seven look at each other and nod.

Drew sits and nods his head, wondering what else he could have said.
