Chapter 15

Rose returns to her companions and the view around them is different.

Before it lacked joy and freedom, and now Pastels are jumping everywhere and some are dancing together.

Then the eight vanish from the scene and find themselves back in the cave from earlier and see Kenson.

"You have finished your first task." he announces.

"I don't get it...we weren't the ones who saved Equestria." Minuette says.

"You influenced another to do the saving, which completed your mission of restoring the normal timeline. Thanks to you Canterlot is back under the control of Princess Celestia and Princess Luna and the Allanians are back where they should be." Kenson explains.

"How come you remember what Equestria was like before we changed time and know how it has changed?" asks Rose.

"Me having been in contact with the elements, am able to notice changes in the timestream in what is different, as you do now." he adds.

"That explains why when Equestria started to change because of the Allanians we didn't change." Doc figures.

"So what now? Do we have to go on another quest?" asks Amethyst.

"Not until another disturbance falls over Equestria." Kenson answers.

"As for the elements, they need to be placed in the chest for security." he adds.

The elements are put in the chest and Kenson closes it, then heads back to the castle.

"If only Caster knew the eighth element isn't missing. I hope he's alright." he sighs.

Caster has been searching for days along the path he and Kenson traveled and he still has yet to find the element.

"I'm not about to give up yet." he mutters to himself.

Suddenly, his attention is turned from finding the element to a loud rumbling noise nearby.

Caster rushes to the sound and climbs to the top of a hill, and gasps.

He sees multiple catapults and ammunition for them, heading towards Canterlot.
