I slowy awoke as I heard the loud noise of my alarm clock signaling me that I should wake up for my first day of school in a new place. Seems like I'm always in a new place. I hopped off my bed and dragged my feet to my bathroom. I looked in the mirror, seeing how truly terrible I looked. My long, dark brown hair was scattered around the top of my head. I swear, my bed head was vile. Speaking of vile, my breath smelled terrible! I brushed my teeth and headed downstairs.

"Good morning Sage," my mom said in an overly cheery mood. "Where's my breakfast?" I replied not giving her or my dad a second look. They always had me moving. Right when I make friends or a boy is interested in me, they somehow find a way to run me out of state. and by now, I was sick of it. "On, the island, honey." She said seeming disappointed. I felt kind of bad, but I just wish she didn't make me leave my friends so often. I looked in the full length mirror by the door before I left. I had a light pop punk style. I was wearing ripped high waisted shorts with a 'Rock 'n' Soul' shirt on. I threw on my rose pink vans and headed for school. My last year in high school, in the City of Angels. This should be interesting.
