CHAPTER 4

ISABELLA'S POV
Its been two years now and I'm 10years now. Mum and I had moved away from Granny Nora's place to our own place in the big city as people called it. Mum had remarried, but I didn't want her to remarry. Their first year of marriage was fun, he always treated me well but I still feared that he would treat me the way my biological dad treated me. "Isabella!" he called from his room. "Yes!" I rolled my eyes, walking towards the direction of his voice, he pulled me inside his room and locked the door behind me "What are you doing Ferdnand?" I usually called him by his name cause I wasn't ready to accept him as my father and he didn't have a problem with it. Before I could say a word he pushed to his bed and use his necktie to tie my mouth. I struggled with his weight as he laid on top of me but no avail. He unbuttoned my shirt, looked down at me and pulled my underwear down. He used his thumb to fondle around my vulva. I struggled to get out of his hold and finally I kicked him away. I ran out of his room and ran into my room. I sat at the corner of my bed hugging my knee cause no one was there to console me. I heard a knock at my door. Hoping that he would come back and apologize then he just said "You could tell your mum if you want"
I sat on that spot until I fell asleep...
For the past two years Ferdnand kept on fondling me though it wasn't frequent and I couldn't do anything about it. Mum had travelled to her hometown to visit her dad and she won't be back for long.

I got up from the kitchen stool and picked up my back pack. I just had breakfast and was heading for school. It was my 12th birthday but no one remembered. Mum went to work earlier and stock a sticky note on the refrigerator

'I'll be back a bit late today. Always loves you xoxo mummy'

I took a stick of lollipop and stock it in my mouth. As I walked down the road I walked past a coffee shop but something drew my attention so I took a step backwards 'vacancy' . I could save up the money and use it to get something for mum. I walked away from the coffee shop waving away the thought. I got to school, it was a normal day, I was the invisible girl that no one ever noticed. I got to my locker after school to get my books, someone pushed so hard that I hit my head on the knob of the door. I turned around to see Ashley and her troops of blonde. She held her head high and walked past me. I rubbed my temple and picked up the books that fell off my hand when I was pushed and left. "Hey dweeb!" I heard Ashley say from behind me but I ignored her and left the building. I took the bus home but my mind went back to the coffee shop. I got down from the bus and walked home...

I just got out of the bathroom singing titanium 🎤shoot me down but I won't fall🎤. My door flew open I tried to hold my towel from falling but Ferdnand was faster and pulled down my towel and pushed me to my bed I screamed hoping someone would hear my voice and help me but no one came to my aid so I tried to pull him away from me but his weight was more than mine I closed my eyes wishing someone will pull the trigger and kill me or the earth should swallow me but to my suprise I couldn't feel his body weight on me and I heard a large bang in the wooden floor. I opened my eyes slowly and saw my mum staring at me with teary eyes. I quickly stood up and gave her a hug. She told me won't be home early I wanted to ask why but I didn't bother, she just saved me and that was all I needed. She returned the hug and immediately out a towel around me, pulled me to her room and locked the door "Bella! When did Ferdnand start doing this to you?" I looked at my mum and bent my head. She hugged me and I felt like crying but I remembered the phrase mum always said

'mummy loves you, so don't cry'. She stormed out of the room with flaming eyes. I wanted to follow her but she shut the door behind her and all I could hear was mum's high pitched voice and sounds of slaps. I sat paralysed on the bed with my head bowed down and looking at my toes. The door flew open again and mum ran in and hugged me. I fell asleep in her embrace...
