"Hmm, I could've swear it was working just well before..." you banged on the vending machine's window repeatedly but nothing happened, it was your luck again, teasing you once AGAIN...You honestly just wanted a snack...
You finally gave up, with a sigh of defeat, you rested your one hand on your hip while the other continued swinging by your side gently " man, I'm so unlucky...!" You chuckled, trying to cheer yourself up, Its not like it was all THAT bad, your luck swings pretty much made it clear to you that you can't have a peaceful life.
Call yourself unlucky or lucky, who knows? You've been through seven car accidents and you got out with only a broken rib that soon healed fairly quiqly, sure you maybe lost five members of your family, sure maybe you were told by the doctors that you'll only survive a week, sure maybe you lost your mental stability, sure maybe you are too afraid to lose someone else again.
But let's forget about all of this old stuff, the doctors gave you that crap a month ago, and here you are alive and normal.
Maybe god have got some serious plans for you, or maybe he's trying to kill you or traumatize you, who knows? You putted too much faith into your luck now. Name yourself an idiotic believer, but your luck was beyond abnormal.
And who needs peace anymore? Peace is boring!
You turned around quietly, not even flinching when a loud bang was heard behind you, you sighed and turned around seeing the once rectangular vending machine, now crushed from the top, a giant truck on the top of it.
"Watch out!" A male voice called, you didn't bother looking back to see the person when you felt a firm hand on your wrist trying to toss you away from the way, you could feel that he was strong but didn't want to shock you, he yanked you a bit trying to make you snap from what he thought was chock or fear but stopped when he felt how peaceful and calm you were in this kind of situations.
You didn't move from your place and continued staring at it, the man stopped and mirrored your action the truck on top didn't move forward, crushing you in result but instead leaned to the right and fell as if avoiding you, completely defying the law of physics.
The man seemed genuinely shocked and weirded out, not only did it went your way as if you were manipulating it but you seemed used to it and totally okay and cool with it.
The next thing that seemed to catch him off guard again is the digital writing that appeared on the crushed screen of the vending machine.
'Congratulations!!'
'Lucky!!'
'Clap clap' sounds echoed from the machine followed by countless numbers of snacks coming from the crushed machine, more than you asked or could ever ask for.
"Haha, I really am lucky after all, huh?" You chuckled again carelessly leaving people surrounding you dumbfounded, mouths hanging and eyes wide, a normal person would at least laugh out loud or smile idioticly when given that much food.
FOOD!
but you just chuckled and took one of the many snacks on the ground, the one that you payed for and turned around to the person that tried to save your life previously, maybe you didn't need help but the will to save others is the most important.
"Hey, thanks for saving me earlier! See you guys!" You waved for the crowd that soon bent over the vending machine to collect the snacks while some still didn't quite understand what just happened, including a certain ninja.
When he finally came back to his senses to look over the ridiculously mysterious girl walking around, eating her snacks peacefully after that loud plot twist that just took place in the story.
"This does not compute!"
. . .
"Hey sweet orange can you go to the grocery store and get me some things?" Your mother asked sweetly, you rolled on your bed to the edge of it and got up on your feet with a smal 'thud'
"Sure thing mom!"
"Thanks sweet orange! "
Slipping your jeans and favorite cardigan on, you went to the front door, kicking your shoes in place and tying them, opening the door and heading over the grocery store.
Every step you took was relaxed and calm, not caring if the world would flip around, it's not like you'll get hurt anyways, you stepped on a wet ground resulting in you falling down on your butt, you let out a shaky chuckled " ouch wow I Seriously got no luck at all" you said, ignoring the baseball bat that hit the wall roughly creating a small crack, that thing could've sent you to the hospital but thanks to your luck you're safe.
You smiled seeing That "hahah, maybe I do" you laughed.
Finally, you made it to the grocery store without anything broken, just as you entered you heard yelling, some kind of argument and a crying child.
Your curiosity got the better of you and you tried to follow the sounds which was easy seeing as how loud the voices were.
When you made it There was a mother with a crying child, an employee and the 'savior' from before.
"I-I apologize! The temperature must have had an affect on me!" The boy said holding his face, while steem seemed to release itself from his ears, the child's crying didn't help the situation while the employee struggled to keep his patient but failed, "uh! You're scaring the costumers! Get out!"
You decided to kick in and held out a lolipop to the crying child, who seemed to calm down a bit at the sight of the sweet treat and your peaceful smile, he looked at you, then at his mother as if asking if he can take candy from a stranger, the mom smiled and nodded making the little boy take the sweet from you happily "thanks miss!" He thanked.
You just smiled at the kid and looked up at the two teenagers standing in front of you, "oh! josh, the director was looking for you, he seemed in a rush can you please not make him wait for too long?" You asked politely, the employee, completely melting from your smile nodded immediately.
"Sure thing miss (name)!ah! You always got that sweet relaxing smile! So cute haha!" He ran off to his destination leaving you smiling sheepishly.
When you made sure he was out of your sight you sighed, " these kind of guys are the worst." You mumbled, looking next at the boy beside you.
He seemed to fix his problems and abnormally ripped off face, or paper? "You okay?" You asked, he just nodded and smiled "yes, thank you for your assistance" he thanked.
You just shrugged it off "it's Nothing so are you a robot or something? "
"Oh,uh...kind of a...nindroid"
"Mhm, well see ya later" you waved a bit and turned to pay when he called for you wait, "um, how about the director's call"
"Oh, that was a lie of course!" You smiled again and walked to your destination normally as if you did nothing wrong, leaving the boy to stare at you in disbelief.
