As you start aging, you change. You must notice this. One thing you've never liked before is suddenly your favorite thing. Your fears aren't really your fears anymore. When you thought you were alone, a sibling has come into your life and your whole view changes.
As you grow, your character should grow with you. As your likes change, so should theirs. You must keep in mind, however, the timeline you have established in the world. Remember how old they are and what they've been through. They are their own person now, they're different from you but all the same in the end.
You've made something amazing and you don't even realize it until it's almost over.
You created a life.
Our characters are our heroes.
But they can be our villains.
And that's okay, too.
