Smiles on

I took a deep breath of the fresh air around me. I was holding my backpack, looking straight ahead at the big campus in front of me. My heart was racing fast, so loud I felt like you could hear the thumping from a mile away. I had adrenaline running though my veins with my blood. It was time for high school.

I walked towards my locker, it was red. I opened it and placed my books and mirror and all the crap everyone else brought like a shelf or a pencil case in my locker. I loved it so much, I'm usually not a girly person but I just had to squeal, just once.

I walked into my first class, sat at the fest centered in the middle. My best guy friend, Ravi, slumped down next to me with the biggest, goofiest smile on earth.

"Do you see this?"

"See what?" I replied, mirroring his smile.

"I'm smiling."

"I know, I am too."

He looked at me then clapped his hands while tapping his feet. "We're smiling! I've never seen us smile, at least not together!"

"Haha, we have smiled, but we have mostly just told each other sad stuff instead of happy ones." I replied with small laugh.

At this moment I realized that the person writing this story is having a writers block so she will be back with a better #2 "Smiles on" so hang on.
