Chapter 4

"What?! Are you serious??", I exclaimed. "Yes! I have to message my mom that my service van left me.", Lily said as she was getting her phone."Ugh, I can't believe my brother didn't even tell them to wait for me!!", Lily said angrily. "You. . have a brother?", I asked in confusion. "Yeah I do, why do you ask?", she answered. "Oh. . uh nothing, you just never told me I guess.", I replied.

As minutes go by, I had to go since my service was already there. "Oh, I have to go now.", I said to Lily as I grabbed my bag. "Oh ok! I'll see you soon.", Lily replied. "Okay bye!", I said as I entered the van.

I sat on the second row beside a girl, whom I don't really know what her name is. "Hey", the girl said. "Hi, uh. . I'm Casey. What's your name?", I responded. "I'm Adriana.", she replied.
"Oh! Nice to meet you.", I said without anything else to say. "You too.", Adriana replied.

As soon as the van reached my house I immediately went down and straight up the door. "Mom,Mom! I'm home!", I yelled. "Oh hey Case! How was your day?", My mom said as she was cooking some food. "It was amazing! I'll tell you all about it later.", I said as I was excited to eat. "Mmm! It smells delicious! What did you cook?", I asked excitedly. "It's your favorite!", she said as she gave me food.

As I was eating, I told my mom about everything that happened during the day. It was a long story, I have to admit. "It sounds like you had fun. That's great Case!", My mom said to me while I was washing the dishes. "It really was. I'll go to my room now, goodnight!", I said as I finished the dishes and went upstairs.

"Man, was it a good day. I enjoyed every single part of it! I can't wait for tomorrow. ." I thought to myself.
I laid down on my bed while I tried to recall everything that happened.
While I was day-dreaming again, I remembered the guy. "Oh yeah, I never got his name." "I guess we'll just find out tomorrow!" I thought.
"Goodnight Universe!" I said as I slowly fell asleep.

-time skip to the glorious alarm clock-

'BEEP BEEP', the alarm clock noised.
I didn't want to wake up yet, but I was hungry so I guess I have to. "FOOD!"
"I WANT FOOD!", I screamed as I went downstairs to the kitchen. "You're up early.", My mom said. "YES NOW GIVE ME MY FOOD!", I commanded.
"Alright, you must be STARVING.", My mom laughed as she tried to mimic me.

"The food is good!", I said as I took a bite. "Of course, I cooked it.", My mom said in a sassy way. I laughed, i like how our mornings are always fun.
"Did you take a bath yet?", She asked.
"Not yet!", I replied. "Hurry and go bath! You're stinky!!", she said in a joking way. "Wow mom so rude I can't believe it", I said sarcastically.

After eating, I was actually done. I cleaned the dishes and went to the bathroom because I am "stinky" apparently. I went inside and took a quick shower. It was cold, so I did it quickly. "Its so cold! I didn't like that shower." "But hey, at least I am kind of energetic right now." I said after taking a very cold shower. "Let's get ready!", I said as I started to dress up.

"Done!", I yelled after I was finished. I packed my books in my backpack and started to fix my room. Afterwards, I went downstairs with my already prepared lunch. "Have a great day, Casey!" She said as I went outside.
I went to the bus stop and waited for my service to arrive. As I was waiting, I saw Brittney.

"Oh look, its the new girl!", she said in an annoying girl voice. "Uh, what's your problem?", I replied. "Hmm, I don't have any problems, maybe it's just you.", said Brittney. "If you're just gonna keep bothering me, just leave me alone.", I replied moving further from her. Thankfully, the bus came and I was able to get away from her. It was weird, I don't understand why she'd have to do that. I mean, what have I done to her?

As we arrived to school, I went down and just decided to stare at my surroundings again. "It's really wonderful here.", I said while I was looking around. "Hey Casey!", Lily said approaching me. "Hi Lily! I just got here.",I replied. "Oh I just arrived too, wanna come with me inside?", she asked. "Sure!" I agreed.

"You know Brittney right?", I asked her in case she knew. "Yeah I do, I used to hang out with her when we were young.", Lily responded. "Really? Why did you stop?", I asked curiously.
"Oh well, she got dramatic growing up, and she started rumors and I didn't like that.", Lily responded. "Oh, maybe she's desperate for attention.", I said quietly to Lily. "I guess I can agree with you on that.", She replied.

"Well, I'll see you in Math class!", Lily said going to her classroom. "Okay, see you later!", I replied as I went on my way to my classroom. First subject was English, So I just went to sit on the second row of the right side, since nobody was there. I decided to write random stuff on my notepad while waiting for our teacher.

I took long until the silence was broken by Brittney. "Hey!!! How are you guys?", Brittney practically screamed at everybody. I tried to not make any eye contact because I know she'll try to say more unkind words about me. Good thing, she didn't notice me. I felt like I just survived a zombie apocalypse.

I just continued to write on my pad until the teacher came. "Good morning class, welcome to English class and I am your English teacher, Ms. Amelia Jane.", The teacher introduced herself.
"Good morning!", the class responded.
"Well then! Let's start with the first topic. ." And more words were said.
