It was a luke warm spring, the breeze blew and cherry blossom petals fluttered past with the fresh fragrance of flowers. Chatters of strangers amass in the station, announcements echoed on nearby platform and the fierce footstep sounds of salary men who are frantically rushing towards the train’s automatic doors trying to be on time for their jobs.
Stood in the middle of the station is a young man with the average build, he was wearing a black polo shirt with a white strip about two inches thick running down the side of his left shoulder down to the end of his shirt, dark blue denim jeans with a white belt that hangs out to the left of waist.
“Man! I can’t believe nowadays they have trains this fast! If only we had this in America!”
The man stretched out his arms and legs while scanning around the station and the back bone crackled like pork scratchings.
“This place sure has changed since I last remembered…”
He reached into his right pocket and took the phone out of his pockets and turned it on, 08:24 was written on the display along with seven notifications, one being a voice mail and six being the missed calls.
*beep*
“H-hel-hello? Nii-nii….? Uhhh *heavy breathing* I-I called you several times b-but it seems like I can’t get through…..s-so ummm……we will be there at around 9:00….s-see you soon!"
-End of voice mail-
(What a worry wart….and she still refers me as nii-nii…..*sigh* that’s just so like Eri….I guess I’ll text her saying I’m at the station)
With the phone on his right hand and the suitcase in the other hand he begun to head off to find the exit but there was a massive crowd getting out by the ticket gates.
“Oh whoa….what a crowd!”
(I guess I’ll wait here until it goes down, well no need for rush since I have half hour to get to get out…..I’ll just be at that book store if it’s still there.)
While being four paces away from the nostalgic bookstore he noticed that something was odd, there were two individuals that didn’t belong in the crowd. There was a tall guy and a bald guy, but what was common in the two was that they had dressed the same black suit and dark shades. However there were distinct differences between the two, the tall man had an obvious intimidating scar down his right forehead which descended down to his lower cheeks, meanwhile the other man had only one ear and a very pale jade coloured dragon tattoo on his shiny bald temples.
Many people had turned their gazes away in fear, the crowd was rapidly dividing into two just like how Moses split the ocean. This could only mean that they were the local yakuza (Japanese gang/mafia) however one should not be associated with them as only troubles would follow but there is one odd thing about this particular ordeal, it was that there was a girl who seemed to in her teen age between the intimidating predators.
Upon a closer inspection, she appeared to be wearing a grey hoody with cut out sleeves over a white t-shirt with the pattern of some cute mascots. While striding a few steps towards the man with the luggage, he noticed the jingles of some sort of metallic object in response I naturally followed the noise to only notice a fluttering crimson tartan skirt and found the origins of the noise itself, the chains were hanging from the clothing article and not to mention baggy grey socks that covered her black skating shoes which white rimmed.
(Huuuh….Is this what the fashion trend here are now?)
While the man was still staring at her clothes, failing to notice that she had already approached him within arm’s reach.
“Hey!”
Her glossy pink cherry lips moved as her violet petite cute pony tail stop its fluffing after she halt her steps. Needless to say, cheeks flashed like fresh ripe peach and eyes that were like emerald that glimmered with sparkles from the boundless stars on the horizon.
So what could this beautiful girl could possibly want from such an ordinary man who was about to enter the most orthodox bookstore in town?
“H-how rude! Staring at me with your lustful eyes….YOU PERVERT!”
“….”
(W-wh-aaat? Ehh?)
“D-d-don’t you have anything to say for yourself huh!?”
Without much thought he had carelessly blurted out his honest feelings at that moment in time which he came to regret within the next moments of his life.
“I was thinking how cute you are….”
*By this time her imagination had gone beyond anyone’s delusions*
“……………………………………………….*BLUSH*”
