Chapter 4

Vanessa's P.O.V

I woke up by an annoying voice and someone jumping on my bed, I opened my eyes to see Veronica jumping and screaming "HAPPY BIRTHDAY PUSSY" I groaned and kick her knee, making her fall off the bed making a huge impact on the floor of my room. I laughed as she tried not to cry.

"Bitch wtf, I'm here saying happy birthday and shit and you just decided to kick my damn knee??" Veronica asked angry and holding on the tears. "You know I don't like being woke up, especially if it's to celebrate another miserable year of my life" I said sitting on my bed. "Vanessa..come on don't be so negative. This year will be better" Veronica said giving me a hug. "I hope so.." I mumble.

I got out of bed and walked over to my closet I decided to wear shorts jeans and a black crop top since it's august and it's still damn hot outside. I walked to the bathroom and took a shower. After I took my shower and changed I decided not to do my makeup cause I was too lazy to.

Veronica and I were heading to the salon in her car, it was a comfortable silence. Then the song that gets on my feels sounded on the radio Someone Like You by Adele. I haven't had a break up that I can be related to the song or anything like that. I just don't know why I feel so fucking sad everytime I hear it. I feel so lonely..but i just don't want anyone to know that.

We walked out of the salon and headed to the food cort of the mall. I only ironed my hair cause it was so messy..

We made our way to the hamburgers section and saw Burger King, McDonals, and Wendy's. We stared at them without knowing where to order. "I want McDonals" I said as I walked to McDonals. "I'm getting Wendy's" Veronica said. "Wait, you don't even like Wendy's" I gave her a confused look. "Yeah, but I don't want to get roasted by that red velvet hair ass logo bitch" Veronica said and I laughed way too hard.

I walked over to the line of McDonals, as I took out my money out of my purse and closed it. "Excuse me this dropped from your purse." I heard someone say behind me and touching my shoulder. I turned around and see Mr. Grayson ..god I haven't seen him since that almost kiss in his house. "Thank you" I smiled and he smiled back showing teeth, I looked down at what I dropped it's a picture of me and my boy best friend he was carrying me bridal style while I was sleeping, Veronica took the picture. "Who is him?" He asked. "He is my boy friend?" "Bo-boyfriend??" Mr.Grayson asked with a conserned look on his face. "Yeah, boy-friend. He's my best friend." I laughed a little because of his face. "Ohhh, great" He said. I ordered my food and once I got it i was about to leave but Mr.Grayson grabbed my hand. "Hey, do you have plans today?" He asked, he forgot that today it's my birthday..great. "Um, no I'm going to be at my home all afternoon and night. Why?" "No, just asking" He smiled and I smiled back and then walked away. Veronica left to her house and I went to buy some cloth. After 2 hours of shopping I decided to go home.

In my way home I could't stop thinking about what Grayson, Cam, and Ethan told me about their way to celebrate birthdays..a sleepover. I guess they forgot my birthday. Or maybe they couldn't make it 'cause they were grounded; but Grayson was in the mall so they're not grounded anymore..yeah, they just forgot.

As I made my way to my house door's I saw the door barely open, it means mom was home..wait she is in a business trip WTF? I opened the door wide open an put a foot inside the house "Hello?" I said scared to death, I might seem rude but I am really sensitive and kind of a pussy :) I walked to the living room and saw a note that said "Come to the stairs ;)" okay that is not creepy! I went to the stairs and found another letter "Come to your room babygirl ;)" hell nah..okay maybe it's Veronica messing up with me again. I went to my room and opened the door "SURPRISEEEEEE" Grayson, Ethan, Veronica and Cameron screamed and hugged me. The room was decorated with balloons blue and white all over the ceiling, the cute balloons that made the number 16, from the white and blue balloons were hanging pictures of myself since I was a baby till today, so was the support of my bed.

"Omg guys! This is beautiful!" I said letting out a tear of happiness, yeah I'm really emotional. Grayson wrapped his arms around my shoulder hugging me from the back "This is all for you" he whispered in my ear and kissed my head. I couldn't help but feel weak about that whisper, he's so hot..NO! HE'S YOUR TEACHER! "I thought you forgot about it!" I said looking at the pictures. "What?? How could we?" Ethan said. "Yeah! And today we're staying here..sleeover bitch!" Cam said making me laugh. "Are you staying?" I asked Veronica. "Of course she is! She's not leaving!"Ethan said and hug her legs like a 5 year old on his first day of kindergarden making all of us laugh. "Sooo, let's start the party!" Cam said and went downstairs, all of us following her.
