P.S: This is taking place in Canada, 'cause I don't know about America or England or Ireland or anywhere, basically, except where I live. But this is a Fan Fiction, so I can make up whatever I want.(Even places, like towns :P) Oh and I guess here, Eleanor and Danielle don't come in yet. *shrugs* I have no idea what I'm doing sometimes. I hope this is edited well, 'cause I did it myself. *crosses fingers*

Chapter 1: The Start Of The Long Weekend

Elizabeth's P.O.V~

It was last period at school, and my old teacher was rambling on about something I obviously didn't care about. I looked at the clock. One more minute. I blew my black bangs out of my face and looked around. My class was goofing off, as usual. I rolled my eyes and looked at the clock again. 30 seconds. I kept staring at it and counted down in my head. As soon as the bell rung, I sprang from my seat, and bolted down the hallways to my locker. I shoved my homework in my backpack and zipped it up. My school mobs the hallways usually at this time, and I'm pretty short. I'm at 5'7, like Niall! Sorry about the One Direction reference, my friends and I obsess about them all the time. Anyways, being short, I get lost in the massive mobs in my school. My high school is a really big one, with 1200 students or something, considering this a pretty small community I live in.

After I was done packing my backpack, I went directly to the front of the school and sat on the steps, waiting for my 4 best friends.

Kim, which is short for Kimberly, came out of the school first and sat beside me.

"Hey! Everyone else is coming soon, don't worry." she said reassuringly. Jackie, short for Jacqueline, came out with her hands on her ears, which was covered with her shoulder-length brown hair. I wonder what she was trying to block out when I heard it.

"Stop with the teasing already! You're such a bitch!" Victoria yelled at Brit, which is our nickname for Britney.

"You just don't understand sarcasm, and you call me a bitch? You're the bitch, Tori." Britney scoffed, emphasizing on Victoria's nickname.

"Brit! Tori! Stop it!" Kim shouted at both of them as she stood up. She was the peacemaker here. She never liked fights.

"Fine. Whatever." Britney said as she flipped her long blond hair with her hand and walked over to Jackie.

Tori rolled her eyes at Brit and stood beside Kim, leaving me sitting in the middle of them.

"Sooo....What now?" I said, feeling a bit awkward. Everyone laughed and giggled, and the tension eased. "I'm serious. It's a Thursday afternoon, no parents for the long weekend, so Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday, and we're arguing."

It was true. Our parents took off on the long weekend on a trip to somewhere. They never told us because they don't want us to bother them. Our younger siblings are at their friends' house, having a sleepover or something. So it was us and 4 days with nothing to do.

"We should go over to somebody's house." Jackie suggested.

"Not mine!" I yelled. " My house is a mess!"

"Really?" Kim smiled. "Or is it filled with Louis Tomlinson?"

Kim always teased, but it wasn't anything major like Brit's.

My face turned a bit red. "Just my room.", was all I could do for a comeback. It was true, I liked Louis Tomlinson, he was my favorite out of One Direction. Kims' was Zayn, Jackies' Nialler, Toris' Liam, and Brits' Harry.

"OMG." Brit stared at her phone with shock in her blue eyes. "One Direction is having a small, unpublicized meet-and-greet at Kingston Park tomorrow!"

I accidentally screamed and quickly covered my mouth with my hand.

"Someone's excited." Jackie said jokingly.

I pretended to make a straight face. "Of course, why wouldn't I?" Then I put on a big smile and yelled, "It's One Direction!"

We all laughed.

"So, how are we going to meet them? A lot of girls here and near here will probably hear about this, and then we'll never meet them then!" Tori said in a whiny voice.

"Calm down, baby." Brit said, then smiled somewhat apologetically. " There was a sign-up sheet for only 50 girls. I was lucky I'm a fast texter and I got our names in." she looked at all of us, except Tori. Then Tori looked like she was on the verge of tears, thinking she would never meet One Direction. "I put your name in too, baby. I may be heartless to you, but this is a once in a lifetime chance.

Tori's face brightened up. "Thanks!"

"You all owe me, big time." Brit said. Owing her, not so good. She likes to trade. An 'I owe you' can change into a 'Huge dare no one wants to do' or 'This needs to be done in the next few minutes.' or even 'Take care of the dirty work for me.'.

"Wait. What if someone steals our names? Then what?" I said, worrying.

Brit opened her mouth to speak, but Kim's words came out first.

"I'm guessing that the list is private, and they would notify the public if the 50 spots are already filled up." Kim said. Brit's mouth closed and nodded. I sighed. Kim was the smartest out of the group. A real bookworm too, I mean, I love books, but she reads about 3 or 4 of them at the same time. I can never compete with her in intelligence.

"So, what time is it?" Jackie asked, looking at her green wristwatch worriedly, she had a lot of things to do tomorrow, she had a dancing tournament, singing lessons, and a huge project for her science class due on Tuesday.

Brit looked at her phone. "Um, 7:00pm to 9:00pm. There will still be light out, considering it's almost summer and the days are longer." she looked up from her phone and smiled.

I rolled my eyes jokingly. "We know Brit. The days are longer in summer and shorter in winter. Basic information."

"I'm just clarifying it for some people." Brit said as she looked over to Tori.

"Offensive!" Tori shouted. Brit shrugged.

"Oh. That's my scheduled time to work on my project, but what the hell. YOLO." Jackie joked. We laughed. I personally thought 'YOLO' was pretty annoying, with the 'you only live once' thing and all, but I have to admit it was a pretty funny and smart comeback.

"So, whose house is it this time?" I asked.

"Let's go to mine. At least it's not a dump with the maids cleaning." Brit said. She was rich, and it's true, no stereotypical comeback there. We all nodded since we couldn't argue. We're teens, our rooms are supposed to be messy. Brit just happens to be rich with maids. We all piled into Brit's Porsche. We carpooled everyday, it was my idea. I have to admit, I'm an environmentalist and everyone says I'm 'so down to earth'. Yeah right, I play on my laptop, text my friends, and play online games everyday. Not so 'down to earth' now huh? Anyways, we rode over to Brit's house, not even bothering to stop at our houses and picking up our clothes for an overnight stay, just because we ditch some of our clothes there sometimes. They're there when we need them, so we don't bother to bring them back home. Once we arrived to Brit's 3-story house(she couldn't buy a mansion because the area here was too small, it's a long story), we went in and walked up straight to her room on the second floor. I thought of all the fun horrors in the nightly game of truth or dare, and the exciting upcoming day of meeting One Direction, and then what? Anything could happen on the rest of the weekend. Especially when you're with your best friends and you've got nothing to do. Man, this weekend is going to be a long one.
