You don't sleep for long before the nurse returns.

"Glad to see you've rested, [NAME]. I'm just here to make sure you're doing okay." You rub your eyes and blink, regaining your sight.

"I'm good. A little hungry." As if on cue, your stomach growls.

"I figured as much. We'll send up some food in a minute. Oh, I forgot to mention. You have visitors. I'll send them in as well." You thank her and she leaves. A few seconds later Ludwig, Prussia's brother, and his husband Feliciano walk in. Feliciano has his arm around Ludwig's shoulders in a comforting manner. They both look as if they haven't slept well in a while.

"Hey, guys. Thanks for coming. It's getting a bit lonely here." You smile at them, unsure of what to do next. You don't really know them that well, but you're touched that they visited.

"Is this her," Feliciano asks, gesturing to the baby.

"Yeah. Isn't she beautiful?"

"Wow," Feliciano breaths. Even Ludwig cracks a small smile as they stare down at the baby.

"You can hold her if you want. Just be careful." Feliciano picks up the baby and holds her to his chest with a practiced manner. You recall that he and Ludwig have an adopted child of their own at home. You decide that you're going to go to them if you have questions. After a few more minutes of talk about the baby, Ludwig asks the question on everyone's minds.

"How's Gilbert?"

You take a deep breath. "I-I'm not sure. They only told me that he's in a coma and that he should wake up soon." Ludwig is stoic and only nods. Feliciano hands you back the baby and leads his husband out into the hall, closing the door behind him. Through the window, you can see him hug Ludwig and then walk him out of sight. You smile a little. They really do make an adorable couple. A few minutes after they leave Dr. Brower comes in.

"Hello, [NAME]. How are you feeling?"

"Better. Do you have news?"

"I do. You can see him now if you'd like." You place the baby in her crib and stand, using your bed frame for support. Dr. Brower wheels over a wheelchair and you sit.

"Can I take the baby with me?" He nods and hands her to you. You rock her in your arms as he wheels you to Gilbert's room.

Other than the machines hooked up to him, Prussia looks normal. His cuts have been bandaged and his hair is matted, but he looks as hot as ever. Dr. Brower parks you next to the bed and you reach for his hand with your free one, keeping your other arm secured around the baby.

"Hey, Gil. I know you can't see her, but I've got our daughter here. She's so stunning." You pause, thinking. "I...I love you." You wait, even though you know he won't answer you. You squeeze his hand and rub it absentmindedly. Suddenly you hear a loud beep.

Within seconds, doctors are crowding around the bed, and you are wheeled off by a nurse. All you're able to see as you leave is the heart line monitor flatlining.
