Not what he seems

finding kuro in his memories

I was sitting on the ground, chained. I am waiting for something to happen but i don't know what it is yet.

When i woke up a while ago in my memories i found that i was chained in this place.

I don't know why I'm chained but I think I'm waiting for my eve.

He did say he was gonna get me out of the ball but now I'm in my memories. So i guess he has to get me out of my memories now.

I'm was starting to fall asleep, am i suppose to fall asleep in my own mind?

Just when i was finally about to sleep i hear i knock, then a voice. He's asking me to let him in, i ask "who are you?" he was silent for a few seconds before answering.

"My name is Mahiru Shirota, i came here to face you." he said, mahiru?

"Mahiru." i said.

My eve, he came for me. I smiled for a second before it faded.

I let him in and froze when i realized my siblings were here too.

"Kuro!" my eve shouts before he quickly rushes towards me while my siblings just froze.

I think it was because i was chained up. But i don't really know for sure.

But before my eve could get close to me, a shield pops up in place. So mahiru couldn't get close or anyone else could either.

It was an invisible shield, so you couldn't see it but couldn't get through.

"Kuro!" mahiru shouts and bangs on the shield. The other's tried to but couldn't break it.

"Mahiru i don't really know what's happening, i just woke up a while ago with chains on me so i couldn't move or get far. It's a little to strong for me so i can't break free. The shield is new i believe. Do you know what's going on? This is too troublesome for me." i said while i stared at them.

  ~change of pov and back before they were let in ~

"So he just didn't want us to feel the pain of ending our father?" lust said or questioned.

"All this time he wanted to protect us?" asked pride.

"Wrath, greed and gluttony, what do you feel?" envy said.

They looked at those three, greed didn't say anything but neither did the other two for that matter.

"Kuro cared for you and wanted to protect you all and lied to you so your father could live. You all found out that you have a little brother as well. Aren't you gonna say anything?! You hated kuro for something he didn't do! Even though he lied about it didn't mean that you couldn't have seen through his lies! He did it to protect you and you say nothing!" mahiru shouted at them with anger.

"I believed his lie and didn't look past it, i thought i lost our father to but it turns out that he didn't kill him but didn't tell us in fear of someone else finding out and that our father might actually die this time." greed said but they didn't see his eye's as it was covered up by his hair.

"Damnit why big brother sloth! Why would you put a burden like that on your shoulders!?" greed shouted out with anger.

"It was to protect you from the truth." Mahiru said.

They looked at their older brother's eve in surprise. "He wanted to protect you all. He told me that a while ago. He said I'll protect my siblings even if it meant doing something he didn't want to do. It was sometime after we met misono and lust. He told me that...to protect you his younger siblings." Mahiru said with a gentle look in his eye's.
