Kameel

While my Natsu pouted and grumbled a few feet away, I turned my attention back to the other Natsu.

When I stepped towards him, his sharp eyes snapped to me and looked me up and down. I smiled nervously, hoping to reassure him.

"Don't worry. I won't hurt you..."

He scoffed and rolled his eyes. "That's rich, coming from the one who hit me with fire balls." He sneered. "And don't treat me like a stray dog! I'm human, for Fairytail's sake!"

I was awe-struck with his last comment. Wasn't he supposed to be against us? Wasn't he the bad guy? If so, then why whould he mention Fairytail?

He noticed my surprised reaction and his eyes widened slightly as he realized what he said. He then crossed his arms, turned his head and scowled.

'If I didn't know any better, I would think he really was Natsu...' I thought.

I smirked and put my hands on my hips. "Okay, then. Since you don't like being treated like a 'stray dog', I'll just treat you like my brother. Will you be fine with that?"

He glared at me out of the corner of his eye and huffed.

"I'll take that as a yes." I chuckled and sat down next to him. He turned away again, refusing to face me. "All I want, buddy, are some answers, 'k? So all you need to do is cooperate an' I'll be out of your hair." I explained.

He grumbled under his breath and let out an exasperated sigh. "Fine."

I smiled. "First question. Who are you really?"

His gaze relaxed out of the scowl and he looked at me. "Why?"

"Well, you're obviously not Natsu, since he's being a sour puss over there," I chuckled, flicking my thumb over my shoulder at my brother. "So it's only natural to want to know who you really are."

He scowled. "Pass." He grumbled.

I peered at him curiously. "You can't 'pass'..." I sighed. "Fine. Then, why do you look and act like Natsu?"

His brows furrowed together, then he winced in pain. "I... I don't know..."

My eyes widened in confusion and surprise. "Okay... what do you know about me and my brother?"

"I know that you are both very close, even though you have only known of each other for a few weeks. You both were raised by the Fire Dragon Igneel, and that you are both extremely powerful..."

"How do you know about us?"

"I'm not sure how, but I have all these memories that aren't mine. They're all his memories, and so... it's as if I'm him..."

"Is that why you were talking as if you and my brother were the same person? Saying 'we' and 'our'?"

"Yeah, I guess."

There was silence. Then a thought came to me.

"Did you lose your memories? Is that why you act so much like Natsu?"

"Most of them, yeah."

"Can you not remember why you were attacking Magnolia?"

"I can remember feeling a need to follow orders... but I can't remember who they were from... I can remember feeling concern, which went against the orders I was givin." Then he looked at meb. "It was Natsu's concern for you."

My eyes grew wide in surprise. Then another question came to my mind.

"I know you don't want to tell me who you are, but can you atleast tell me your name?" I pleaded.

He looked down, resting his elbows on his knees. In the light of the fire, I thought I saw his hair flash a dark brown, but then it was gone. I blinked, thinking it was just shadow.

"Jack." He mumbled. "My name is Jack."

"What happened!!"

"Why didn't the plan work?!"

"Why did you get rid of him?"

"He was such a good asset to our mission!"

The suited men all stared at the end of the table with fire burning in their eyes. They were all furious with the dicision to get rid of one of their greatest agents when they were all told that he would be vital to the mission.

The shaded man sat calmly in his chair, not saying a word, not even looking up through his bangs. The other men continued to rant, but he just sat there, ignoring them. He knew what he had done, and he knew exactly how it would help with the mission. He was completly aware that his asset would fail his task to destroy the city, which is why he sent another...

Lucy

Wendy, Carla, Grey and I were all helping the people when a bone- chilling, high-pitched laugh rang through the streets. It was frightning, but oddly familiar.

I turned, my arm wraped around a lady and her child, urging them to find a safe place to hide.

"What is that?" Grey cried, covering his ears. He staggered back and winced. I rolled my eyes. He was deffinetly over-reacting.

"I don't know, but it sounds awefull!" Wendy yelled.

I turned back to the remaining civilians. "GO!! Find somewhere to hide, and stay safe!" I called, waving my hands.

Once they were all gone, I turned back to the direction of the shrill laughter. I stood poised, my hand hovering over my keys, ready at a moments notice to call one of my spirits.

I wouldn't do that if I were you.

Seconds after the unfimiliar thought ran through my head, a long, black whip shot forward, right at me!

I jumped out of the way, the whip just narrowly missing my face, and rolled to the side.

"Lucy! Are you okay?" Wendy called.

"Yeah, I'm fine!"

"That whip looked just like Lucy's whip!" Grey mentioned. I blinked, realizing that he was right.

'Could another whip have been made? I thought mine was specialy made! There could be a possibility... but if there was another whip, what are the chances that I would see it?'

I was snapped out of my thoughts as a pair of muscular arms grabbed me and threw me over their shoulder. Grey jumped forward, me practicaly on top of him as the whip snapped loudly, inches away from my ear.

He set me down next to Wendy and whipped around to face our attacker. I turned as well, to the sound of clacking heels on the cobbled roads.

A dark silloette emerged out of the fire, a long whip hanging out of her hand. She stepped forward, flicking her hair over her shoulder, and grinned.

"Hello, Lucy!"
