It felt beautiful. It tasted like freedom, like hope and all the things she had been denied.
The wind playfully whipping her face as gravity pulled her down. Even as she fell lower, the sky felt closer and closer.
It was more like flying really.She didn't care if she crashed into the ground, she didn't care if it broke her into a million pieces, it could never break the first true smile on her face. Or the laughter issuing from her mouth, for the first time.
This was happiness. This was everything she wanted.
