TEEN CHOICE AWARDS RANT

Hey guys, usually I like to give a really lighthearted update but today I am very disappointed. The teen choice of words was an opportunity to show that the Dolan twins is one of the strongest fandom's in the Internet. However we voted for weeks probably showing our love and support for the twins.

However, they only won one award tonight. They won choice comedian. I was so proud to see them win another surfboard. I am also congratulating the rest of the nominees in which they were nominated for an award. However I can't help but notice that the hosts of the show ended up winning surfboards. We the fandom have been voting for a really long time and for a guy who bullies kids and completely trashed his own brother and makes up lies and starts drama and cheats all for attention, I honestly believe that she did not deserve the words that he got tonight. I am trying to be the bigger person so I will congratulate Jake Paul on winning these awards however I am not saying that I am not disappointed I just believe that the twins deserved so much more than they got.

I am unbelievably pissed at the amount of work we put in only for it to not pay off. It's not to say that it wasn't for nothing because we support the twins to matter what happens but Logan Paul I think earned this award too soon. He just started YouTube almost a year ago, he already want two surfboards. Congrats to him because that sounds like a big milestone, which it is. However what I see in his content is that he plugs his Merch, he breaks plates, he likes to start drama also, and while he's humorous, he's not funny. I think his content is lacking.

Also, if you guys are completely confused, here's the breakdown of what happened: last year, the Dolan twins won the teen choice award for male WebStar. This year they were the favorites to win. Their votes on Twitter even show that they would win. However a huge mixup happened at the actual awards ceremony. Basically, someone in the audience saw the twins lining up behind Liza Koshy because the producers told them that they were the winners. They were near the stage and pulled from their seats and they were pumped. When Bella Thorne announced that Logan won, it was very confusing, because the twins are lined up because the stage hands told him that they had won. (Look up the Logan Paul teen choice video). You can clearly see that the twins were confused and shocked. They didn't even clap as much as the rest and looked like puppies kicked. This is an example of false advertising. At the time of the advertising the producers are ready to give the twins the award. Still confused? Here's how the teen choice works: basically we are voting to keep our favorite acts in the top 4, eliminating one. From there, the producers ultimately decide who to give the award too. Back to the twins, they were supposed to get the award but a last minute change happened during the show, giving it to Logan. We don't know why, but backlash is there. Logan can even be seen not lined up to enter stage left and he's surprised and taken aback. I hope the reason is clear now as to why everyone is so mad. Logan was originally not supposed to win and the producers robbed the twins of the rightfully deserved award. I wish somebody would start a petition to get them their surfboards that they earned because it can clearly be seen that the votes added up that the twins should've won every single category that they were nominated for. I feel like the television company did this only to create buzz about the show and they use the twins for publicity. The twins presented and they were the favorites to win, but they didn't. A lot of people watched only for the Dolan twins. This causes a lot of controversy which I guess is what the show wanted.

Sorry for the rant, this is my opinion and no one else's. This is my feeling but you don't have to agree. I hope you guys don't click off the story; I swear I'm not like this always but this issue has me fired up so yeah. Comment down below your opinions because I would love to see a conversation happen.
