Dad was waiting for me at the gate as
soon as I got off the plane, which I
guess is better than Mom rushing me
off to basically hell.
"Hey Savannah! Wow you've grown so
much in the past two years. I feel old
now"
"Dad, you're only 47. You're not even
near old. Where's Meredith?"
As if on cue, the bitch walks out of the
bathroom as if everything was in slow
motion and the world revolved around
her.
"Hello Savannah. It's been so long! I
need a little help in the bathroom. Lady
stuff John. Can you give me a hand?"
"I'd really rather not-"
"Go Savannah, help your good ol'
stepmom out," my dad says as he shoos
us off."
As we walk into the ladies room,
Meredith's attitude changes from sweet
and innocent to nasty and I guess you
could say a lil bitchy.
"You remember our deal right?," she
says as she lathers 20 pounds of
makeup on in the mirror.
"Nice to see you too, Meredith!" I say
with a sarcastic smile.
"I'm serious Savannah. Tell your father
about what happened last summer and
I'll tell him what you did to his work
that night. Your choice!," she says as
she basically bounces out the door in
her too high of heels.
Great. I'm being blackmailed and it
hasn't even been an hour. This is going
to be just the BEST summer ever.
