Daddy Doitsu II : Pookie pie

●Day 3 - Play Time●

Half asleep and half awake, I turn to where Ludwig's side of the bed and sling my arm out to cuddle. My arm only manages to land on the cold edge of the bed. My hand searches the bed, revealing that I have taken over the entire bed, and Luddy is not here.

I sit up, sleep still holding me hostage and search the room through squinted eyes. Then, a high pitched laughter rings in my ears. Fully awake now, I decide to go look for Ludwig, finding him in his office, nose deep in stacks of paper.

"Ve, Buongiorno~" I yawn, gaining his attention. He acknowledges my greeting with a faint smile and goes back to writing. I make my way around his desk and rub his back.

"When did all these paper get here??" I ask reassuringly.
"All mailed to me over night...I need to focus today, Es tut mir leid... " (I'm sorry) He sighs and apologizes, caressing my free hand with his.

I leave him be and go to find Charlotte playing with her stuffed bunny.

"Hihi~~"she squeals and runs up to my legs, hugging them tight with the stuffed bunny still in hand. She giggles as I pick her up "Let's go get you fed, then mama will play with Pookie pie, si??" Char stares at me puzzzled "S-si??" I smile at her attempt "Si means yes, bella"
I watch as her eyes light up "Si~~ mama" I can't help but smile from ear to ear "Ve~ very good".

I place Char in her high chair and make eggs and Bacon for breakfast. After her plate is made, I make one for Luddy and some coffee; making sure he eats, He can forget sometimes with so much work.

Charlottle and I finish up and I take her out of her high chair and place her onto the floor. Collecting the dishes and placing them into the sink, I feel Char pull on my pant leg.

"Mama, char hep??" She grins as she hands me her sippy cup; holding it upside down, with the cap in her other hand, and apple juice dripping on the floor.
I take her cup, place it into the sink and hand her a damp paper towel "Grazie, but do mama a favor and help me wipe up the apple juice??"

We both wipe up the drips of apple juice off the floor, I go over her spots and make sure it doesn't leave the floor sticky. And we go back to her room to play as I promised.

I pick up a stuffed bear and talk through it to Charlottle.
"Ciao Charlotte, would you like to hear a story??" I ask as I tilt the bear's head curiously.
She giggles warmly and reaches up for the bear "Okie, stowy time".

I sit on the edge of her bed and make the bear pat the right side of me "Come sit and I'll tell."
She jumps onto her bed and sits with her legs crossed Indian style, her curl bobbing with excitement.
"This story is called Sun, Moon and Talia" I narrate through the stuffed bear and her stuffed bunny.

"Once there was a king that had a sweet little bambino. A princess, but one of the kings men foretold the princess' fate, that she would die from a splinter."
Charlotte stays intrigued as I act out the king through the bear, and the princess through the bunny.

• Feliciano's P.o.v•

Feli acts out Sleeping Beauty through Charlotte's stuffed animals. He reaches the end of the fairy tale version (child friendly/ Disney version)

"The princess pricks her finger on the sewing mill and a splinter wedges into her finger."
He acts out the bunny princess fainting and drops the bunny for effect.
"Noo, the pwincess got huwt, pick her up mama! "
" I can't pookie"
"When is she com'ng back, mama??"
"Don't worry" he makes the bear jump up and wiggle its arms "A prince will save her"
"Bu' how, if mama can't hep her, she's never com'ng back"
Feli stiffles a chuckle "No Char, just watch"
