Chapter 6

(y/n P.O.V)

I stared at the book in front of me, the words not making any sense. I sighed and gave up on doing my reading assignment. I looked up and saw Wilbur walking towards me, backpack slung over one shoulder. 

" Hey." He said nonchalantly.

"Morning." I answered.

" I got some ideas." 

" Great, because I cannot think of anything." I said.

He laughed. " Well, 2017 was kind of a  crazy year," I nodded, " but I think we should talk about the presidency, that really messed people up."

I smiled, " That's smart, but do you think everyone is going to do that?"

He frowned, pondering. " Oh no, I mean it's a great idea, it-" I started stuttering and talking quickly.

" It's fine, that's a good point." He smiled reassuringly. I breathed a sigh of relief.

" Okay, how about the takeover of the internet superstars?" ( A/n: i'm sorry, I HAD TO ADD YOUTUBERS OKAY)

" Sounds great!" I said happily. Hey, he's not as dumb as he looks!

I walked over to the history section. " Come over and help me look for a book on the internet."

Wilbur shrugged and walked over. I crouched down and started to look for the book.

(Wilbur P.O.V)

I looked at y/n.

She tucked some stray hairs behind her ears.

She's quite pretty... STOP. Zach forbid anyone in the group to like her.

I averted my attention from her to the books. Internet, internet, internet...

" Found it!" y/n yelled excitedly. " SHHHH!" The librarian shushed.

y/n rolled her eyes, and turned to me. I looked at her e/c eyes.

" I'm going to check out the book, but I have to go. See you in homeroom!" She said quickly, and ran off.

I walked out of the library with a smile on my face.

" Hey, what's up?" Zach nodded his head towards me, " what's with the dumb smile?"

I changed my facial expression into a neutral expression.

" Nothing." I answered.
