The next morning I woke up with a headache, finding it hard to even open my eyes. I groaned loudly as I remembered last night, the arguing with Joe. Turns out that April is my new 'girlfriend' so that the band would get more publicity. A big model like April dating a band member would defiantly increase our publicity. There's two problems with this though. 1: I absolutely HATE her, and 2: I LIKE CHARLOTTE! What's she going to think when she finds out I've got a girlfriend?! She's going to think that I've been playing her all along! I'm not allowed to tell anyone the 'relationship' is fake, so every chance of me and Charlotte actually happening is now gone, great.

"Hey man, how you feeling?" Blake said, sitting on the edge of my bed.

"I'm about to lose the girl I'm really really into, all for some stupid publicity, how do you think I feel?"

"You'll be alright mate" Reece tried to comfort me.

"It's not me that I'm worried about Reece, it's Charlotte. When I tell her that I have a girlfriend, she's gonna think that I've been playing her the whole time. She's gonna hate me" I sighed, putting my head in my hands.

That was the thing that's was gonna kill me the most in this situation. The one girl who I truly connect with, the one girl that I can't seem to live without, the one girl that makes me feel the happiest I've been in ages, is going to hate my guts.

"I know that Joe said that you can't tell anyone that the relationship is fake, but I think you should call your Mum, George. Your mum always knows what to do"

"Yeah I guess" I sighed.

The boys left the room, saying that they were going for an early morning swim in the hotel pool, which left me alone to call my mum. And luckily she answered on the third ring.

"Hiya George! How's America?" She said excitedly.

"Uh great, yeah it's really great. How's back home?"

"Um, it's alright I guess. Very quiet without you here" she sighed. "Are you okay? You're not seeming very cheery today"

I sighed. "Mum if I tell you my situation will you tell me what to do?"

"I can try my best to steer you on the right direction. What's wrong?"

"So Joe has gotten me a girlfriend. She's a model, she's called April, but Joe is making us fake date for publicity--"

"But what about that Charlotte girl? She was all you talked about when you were home, and isn't she over there with you as well?"

"Yes she is, and exactly. I talked about her all the time because I really really like her. But now Joe is making me do this for the band, and as soon as Charlotte finds out I have a girlfriend, she's gonna think I've been playing her all this time and she's gonna hate me"

"Well, why not just tell her that this relationship with April is fake?" She suggested.

"Joe said I'm allowed to tell anyone that it's fake. I wasn't even supposed to tell you but I need your guidance"

"I'm sorry George, I'm not sure what to tell you. I think in this situation, the only way to get out of it is to try talking to Joe about it" she said.
