5. Michael's favor✅

--CARLY'S POV--

I had just repaid Michael's favor. No one knew what favor I was speaking of except him. I could see the look on his face that showed me he knew exactly what I was talking about. It was just between us.

"Thanks, Carly, you did me a huge favor, I would have been expelled with another trip to the office," he said once everyone walked away.

"No problem, I owed you a favor and now it is repaid considered us even," I said in reply. "Okay, so how's it going?" He asked in a need to know voice.

"How's what going?" I asked.

"Project Playing the Players" he replied and I quickly shushed him throwing my finger over his mouth.

"No one can know about that. It's a secret you idiot." I spat back once I knew for a fact we were alone. He looked at me harshly but stayed quiet.

Project Playing the Players is the nickname I created for my little game. Everyone always thinks I'm a goody-two-shoes and no guys ever want to talk to me because of it so I got two of the hottest guys to fight over me now.

When Michael came around asking who we would rather Shag I talked him into saying I was the tiebreaker. I wasn't really the tiebreaker but them two dont know that. I am going to get these 2 players to fall in love with me only so I can play them like they will try to play me.

--RYDER'S POV--

When I saw Carly stand up like that in the hallway it kind of made me look at her differently. She has a lot of courage inside her even though she chooses not to show it.

I saw her talking to Michael after school. They must have been talking about the favor. I did not know what she was talking about but for some reason, he wouldn't tell me.

"So Carly, where are we going?" I asked as I slung my arm around her shoulder and kissed her cheek. She pulled away and whipped the kiss away.

"We are not going anywhere, I am going somewhere."

I looked at her kinda baffled and then looked over at Tyler's car "Come on, let me take you to get coffee, maybe a movie?" I asked. I need this to move faster. I need her to fall in love so I can break her heart. Why can't she be like a normal girl?

"I am not going with you" she replied. "Come on please, just give me one chance. I won't disappoint you"

Tyler was getting out of his car when Carly finally agreed on a date. He had flowers in his hand. "Carly love, I bought these at the florist. Here you go" he said as he handed her flowers.

She looked at them and smelled them then picked up the card attached. 'To Tyler with love from Kierra' she read out loud. Tyler's face started to redden and I burst into laughter.

"You idiot, you didn't even remove the tag from the girl. How dumb can you be giving her flowers that were given to you by some hoe" I laughed out,

His face got really red and then I watched as she turned around and hit the flowers against my chest. I looked at her with a weird look not knowing why she had hit me. "There's a part of the note for you too. It reads 'Ryder, I miss you also. Maybe we can get together again. That night was unforgettable'

I could feel my face heating as she looked me dead in the eyes and said: "You just lost your chance."
