Flashback

After Kodie kissed her cheek Kennedy's beeper stared beeping && a red light came on then the nurses came in .

" Excuse me but you have to wait out there in the waiting room " the doctor said .

" wait whats going on SOMEBODY TELL ME WHATS GOING ON " Kodie said yellin .

Kodie got escorted out of the room .
All Kodie could do was cry .

End of the flashback .

Nobody's pov .

Kodie couldn't stop crying no matter how bad she tried to stop . She didnt know what was going on until everything was over , her brain was racing with all kind of thoughts . Kodie started to think of Kennedy dying && what would happen to herself if Kennedy died but all that did to Kodie was make her cry even more .

Kodie's Pov ,

I dont know what is going on nor what the doctors were doing to her . All I could think about was things that I never want to happen to her , right now all I could do was wait && call her uncle since he was the only family she had down here .

Phone convo ,

" wassup Kodie " - her uncle says .
" hey Lee im just calling because earlier this morning something happened to Kennedy && the doctors are working on her . I dont know whats going on until its over but you should come down here asap " - I said .
" bet ill be down there in about 5 mins im right around the corner " - her uncle said .

End of convo .

Once her uncle got there he lost it because after 15 mins of him being there they still didnt tell him or Kodie what was going on .

2 hours later ...

" Family of Kennedy Shantil Rivers " the doctor finally said .

Kodie && Lee stood up .

" Right here " they both said .

" please tell me she's okay doc " Kodie said .

" she's okay for now but what happened a few hours ago is that she actually died .. We eventually revived her . She is now woke but once you guys talk to her she may be a little in && out but she's fine she's just on meds . You two can go see her now " the doctor said .

" Thank you so much doc idk what I would do if she left this earth like that " Kodie said .

" yeah doc thank you so much man " Lee said .

" Anytime " the doctor said .

They walked to the room that Kennedy was in , && looked at eachother then walked in .

When they walked in Kennedy was wide awake watching tv . When she seen her uncle && Kodie she smiled .

" Hey yall , im fine " Kennedy said with a smile on her face .

" Kennedy im so glad everything went well , please dont ever in your life do that again . You can talk to me about anything , you my favorite niece && I love you " her uncle said hugging her .

" I promise I wont , now that I have someone that made my life as special as it can be " Kennedy said looking over at Kodie .

" Yeah well ill go so yall can talk , ill be back to get you tomorrow " her uncle said .

" alright I love you " Kennedy said .

" I love you too " her uncle said leaving .

For a minute all Kodie && Kennedy could do was stare at each other before Kodie finally spoke .

" I missed you " Kodie said .

" I missed you too Kodie " Kennedy said . " Come here babe " she said patting a spot next to her .

Kodie walked to her && sat down .

" its okay now Kodie . You got me && I got you , thats all that matters " Kennedy said kissing Kodie .

Kodie then layed down on Kennedy's stomach .

Kennedy's Pov ,

I honestly missed Kodie . I never want us to ever break up because I love her && she means the world to me . Im just glad I woke up to finally see her face again && love her more than before .

Kodie's Pov ,

Im just happy she woke up , I missed her so much . All I gotta say is FINALLY I got my baby back ! 😊
