Link ran around the streets of Clock Town, panting with each step taken. In his adult form, he can traverse the path easier. Thank the Goddesses he managed to regain back his form, being stuck in a child's body is no easy task for him, if he is to be honest with himself.

The stress and pressure is enough to drive him insane. Having only three days to save the world isn't helping, either.

Skull Kid flew beside him, pointing desperately at the top of a specific tower. "Right there! Right there!" he exclaims. A familiar outline of a girl can be seen on top of the building, dancing around with the air. As if she's praising the impending destruction soon to come.

Her features hidden underneath an evil mask, a mask so legendary. So evil, filled with nothing else but malice.

Said girl's laugh echoed, raising her hands up to the sky and ordering the moon itself to bring destruction to Termina. The people below can only shriek and scream in terror, panicking and running in a frenzy as Link weaved through the crowd.

Why, why did such thing happen to her?

She used to be so innocent. So kind and gentle. Yet, this change in her is caused by no one else..

But him.

With determined eyes, he ran up the stairs briskly. Two fairies following behind shortly, helping in any way possible.

He has to save her. He has to.

"Oh! If it isn't Link." (Name) says with a dull laugh, lowering herself down to the ground as the hero stopped in his steps. Unsheathing the almighty weapon hidden in it's scabbard.

"(Name), stop this! This isn't you!" Link shouts, doing anything, shouting anything. Anything at all, just to get her senses back. She's so precious to him, she's been there ever since his childhood. She ventured Hyrule with him as a child, and many more. The girl's laughter doubles up, she spins around in the air, giggling.

"Oh please, I lost myself decades ago, haven't I?" she questions, crossing her arms with a loud hum.

It's as if she's mocking him on purpose.

With Link's silent response, she only flew up again with a bright laugh. Spreading her arms outward, she shouts at the moon to fall faster. Wanting it to crush the earth beneath it's terrifying visage. And when that happens, she, herself, will be a witness of the destruction of Termina.

"(Name)!" Link cries out loud, unable to calm himself down.

No, they can't die. Not here!

"Please! Come back!"

That single sentence made the corrupted female stop her laughter, craning her neck to look at him. The golden eyes in the mask glowing in a malicious way, it scared the hero. The female descends to the ground with clenched fists, her form shaking in what seems to be anger. The wind around them begin to pick up speed, and the moon seems to get angrier. He can't explain, but the moon begins to fall down faster. "Come back.. ?" she asks softly, catching the man's attention and for a minute, Link thought that he finally got through her. Which is true.
